Hi all, good day. I am offered by ExxonMobil for engineer role. At the same time, I am already senior engineer in Sembcorp Marine and I have the confident that will be promoted to assistant manager role within next 2 year. Is it worth for me to jump ship to oil major ?

Salary increment is around 25% from current salary. The salary offered is still higher than assistant manager in my current company. Appreciate if you all could shed some light on it ? Worth for me ? Thanks in advance.

Thats actually great.. but if u promoted to assistant manager, how much is the increment? is it worth to wait for 2 years?

but as u said, the salary offered is still higher than assistant manager. maybe after 2 years u try go for assistant manager, probably another 25%
