happy holidays everyone.. stuck in a dilemma about future of my job.. am in my mid 20's now and here are my options for the next Quarter:

a) SGD50,000 PA continue my job in Singapore and live alone with rent.
b) SGD42,000 PA but shift to KL office, rent free and spend in MYR.

Same job scope, same position. Im in the midst of applying PR as well if that helps.

Regards
*
I guess your rental in SG can offset the different 8K/PA.
if I can spend time with family, friends in KL/Malaysia .. is easy for me to go opt b . haha
because I go not intention to convert to citizen or stay long in SG

my job scope required travel to cover the region, so I prefer stay w family

Applied end of January, was approved end of June but my IPA letter hasn't even arrived yet until today. I've also realised SingPost has been messing up my postal mails lately. I have to email ICA just to inform that I didn't receive the letter after 1 month.

Congrats! I applied in Dec ...almost 8months still pending as per my last check ... blush.gif blush.gif blush.gif

Is it worth it to pay extra?

Most people pay income tax using monthly GIRO.
*
I'm not sure whether this worth or not.
Currently on Giro … but I have requested to back to KL office... that's mean before surrender my work permit,, probably I have to clear all income tax + current year X 15% right …?

blush.gif so if pay via Citibank can earn miles why not...Cost per mile = 1.33 cent

Think only 14 days and of course swab test. Have to pay a certain percentage as MY citizen and at a quarantine facility.
*
Ohh yea..it's 14 days and pay RM2100.... Not 21 days..

Hopefully they loosen to 7 days ;/

Hi all, have any of you (or anyone you know) gone back to Malaysia in the last few months?

https://www.kln.gov.my/web/sgp_singapore/ho...tRedirect=false

According to M'sia High Comm website we need to download and fill in LOU and email to them 3 days before travel date, then High Comm will email back with travel approval, then only can go back in?

Just wondering if they actually can reply within those 3 days or not since apparently they have tens of thousands of emails.

Better apply in advance or max 60 days before you actual departure.
