Does anyone know whether now we can start work using ipa letter ? Or do we need to wait until notification letter to be issue only then can start work?

Does the employer need to inform MOM our exact date of start working?

I'm not sure how many IPA u will be receiving, I remember there's two. Only one stated that you are allowed to work and stay in Singapore with the letter. Check your letter.
No need to inform MOM

Usually, we will receive IPA letter first before receive the Notification letter.
I just want to know whether now we can start work using IPA letter?
Because last time, I start worked in a company with IPA letter before the issue of notification letter. So, I want to know whether it still remain the same or not.

Just bring the real document and photocopy ... like resume, passport size photograph, Malaysia ic, passport, academic cert, testimonials (if any), and sometimes they ask for previous month payslip( if any ).

Hi!
My ep pass just approved yesterday. My company asked me to go down Singapore to do medical checkup. How many days do I need to wait for the medical result? Do I need to collect the result by person or can the clinic sent the result to the company?
When can I start work? after receiving ipa or need to wait the medical checkup result?

Anyone know where can apply job at singapore?
i have been trying to apply for so long, but no response via jobstreet, monster, jobsdb.

If you don't mind to spend some money, you can try to subscribe the priority application for jobstreet. Using this, the employer know that you are serious candidate and high chance your application will get review. But the chance to get interview is depend on your skills and experience. If you know the company HR email, is much better, just drop your resume to them.

WP fee not cover by company!? If not cover by company how much is it?

May i know the disadvantage? I only know it cant apply for PR and quite hard in change job.

Oh one more EP got quota? They mention will chg if got chance.
*
Last time, I also a WP holder (Science degree fresh graduate) and salary even lower than yours. The company should pay the levy. And WP has a lot of disadvantage in terms of PR, phone plan... But after 2 and half years, I got other offer and the company apply EP pass for me.
By the way, WP and S-pass are based on quota. EP don't have quota.

It is up to you whether you want to accept the offer or not. Not easy to get a job in Singapore since the high competition.

Do you guys inform HR your new address in Singapore when you move into new house? Is there any consequences ( whether from company, MOM, ICA) if we didn't inform the HR regarding the address changing?

Usually 1week - 3months. If your application don't have any problem, then you get faster approval.
My EP pass approved after 10 days include weekend.

Hi, If my S Pass application status approved then what should i do? ask HR for IPA letter?

Usually HR will contact you once approved. The HR will print the IPA letter for you. You also need to go down Singapore for medical checkup.

How long for the Ep or SP being approved? I noticed it take shorter time (up to 10 days) although it mentioned up to 3 weeks on the website. The HR help me to apply EP pass on 10 November 2017. I haven receive the news thou.

Since I'm fresh graduate and work as a design consultant in Singapore, my salary income is approximately 3k++ sgd (which lower than 3.6k sgd requirement. Is it still allowable to apply for the EP pass? Thanks
*
You know right, to apply EP pass for foreigner, the company need to post the job advertisement on jobsbank for 14days. After 14 days, only then the company can start applying for EP pass. Then, need to wait for approval. Can take quite some time. Just be patient. You can also check on MOM website if you want to know regarding your EP pass application status.
Regarding the salary, the requirement is more lenient for Malaysian. 2.4 also can get EP pass.

morning at 10am. so i guess i must be there at least 9am.

is there any MRT around there? How far is it to the street?
*
Yup, better stay in Singapore since interview in morning...scare jam at bridge there

Google and search where is your interview place, which transport to take...

For the accommodation, do you have any friends or relative here? Maybe you can ask them if can stay for a night. If you want to book hotel, is quite expensive in here. Or if you don't mind book hostel/ backpacker since it cheaper than hotel.

Why does the job advertisement in jobstreet for certain company keep open?
Last time I went for interview and they said that need urgent people. And during that time, I not working. The manager show me around the working place but not good news receive. Feel cheated and annoyed. And now the same job advertisement keep pooping at jobstreet but don't hired people.

Hi,

Currently, I am in 3months contract job from September to November. And there is possibility the contract will be extended until March 2021, however with 1month notice period started from December onwards.

But I still not sure whether want to continue the contract or find a job for a permanent one.

I want to ask, should I include the contract job in my resume? And FYI, I find the contract job through the recruitment agency. Should I include the recruitment agency company in my resume since the workplace I work now is their client and my payslip is out by the recruitment agency.

And previously, I have 5 years working experience before I decided to quit and take the contract job. If I searching for a new job now, should I include this contract job in my resume?
