imo, i would say yes, even job scope isnt what i truly want. you are still young. and the pay is increase too in dollar by dollar. Try to work for a year and see how thing goes.
but well, its just my opinion.

Just some information sharing after i went through PR form submission this morning.

1. Certificate in Malay
Rumors say that certificate in Malay will not posses any problem since Singaporean know Malay as well. My Diploma and Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) membership cert are in Malay and the Malay officer asked do i have cert of both in english version. Of course i dont have since rumors say that Malay translation is not needed. But she choose to reject my BEM membership and said that only accept cert in english.

Luckily she didnt reject my Diploma cert, i guess that education cert in Malay is acceptable but others must be in english. Just hope that the absence of BEM membership has tiny effect in my PR application.

2. For those who is married and registered in Malaysia, the marriage cert number should be fill in based on the alphanumeric at top right corner, instead of numbers at middle left.

idk about tuas checkpoint but assume that you reach woodlands checkpoint at 7am, with normal traffic/crowd condition you can clear msia custom around 8am.
While during pre-festive season you may clear custom around 9am.

it will only getting worse. with that time reach woodlands checkpoint i suggest you to walk (around half hour) across the bridge instead of taking bus (usually more than half hour in waiting bus).

yes you can, provided that the insurance company have branch in singapore.
relief only applicable on premium paid on life insurance.
in my case, i bought a GE insurance consists of life and medical so those premium paid on life can only eligible for relief.
you have to ask your agent to provide you the statement of premium paid on Y2017 for tax filling purpose.

hey guys, need some clarification here about converting driving license after getting PR.

From Singapore Police Force Website , it said that "New Singapore citizens and PRs must convert their foreign driving licences within 3 months of obtaining citizenship or PR status."

my understanding to this statement is that if i dont convert my msia license to sg license within this 3 months grace period, i couldnt convert anymore in the future. am i correct?

thanks on your feedback. i think i will just convert it now in case practical test is required in future.

from what i studied, msia driving license will deactivated once you extract info from JPJ an get sg driving license.
rumor has that ur msia driving license will be blacklisted once you choose to extract at JB JPJ, to de-blacklist you have to pay agent some fees. as far as i know this only happen to JB JPJ but not other JPJ.
correct me if im wrong.

3) Officer reject my BEM cert when i apply for PR previously because its in Malay. nonetheless i still get my PR approved w/o BEM cert.

My understanding is, income is taxable if u are:
* A tax resident in Malaysia (stay in Malaysia for 182 days or more), AND
* Salary credited directly into Malaysia bank account

Correct me if im wrong.
