Completed my PR formality. Don't need original document due to covid-19 but need to write a declaration letter on the spot.

You do know what you said does not that mean the original document is not required.
It is just an exception which they allowed on a case by case basis (which has been there all along whereby you sign and declare it is true and valid).
They can still insist on wanting the original document and reject you.

like i said, it is an exception on a case by case basis and is nothing to do with covid.
I signed that declaration before 7 years ago because I misplaced one document, I think it was the SPM cert.
Then there is also one which asked me to go home to find the document and return in the afternoon or they will not processed it for my daughter few years ago (this time it was the company letter which I re-requested from same company but they wanted the older copy -_-ll).

Anybody using either of the 2 SG/MY border schemes? Perhaps share since it might benefit others. I am not but would be interesting to know regardless.

Hello there! Congrats on the successful application smile.gif May I know if you translated your birth certificate for the PR application?

Surprisingly, I didn't translate it. And at the back of my mind, I thought it would get rejected. Then again, I save SGD200 for the translation fee according to some of my fellow Malaysians here in Singapore.

They are very confusing. In fact, if you are PR, it's better and more straightforward to go into Sg now than using that PCA

It feels like a half hearted move and those I have spoken to feel its not very practical but hopefully it leads to freer movement soon. Would be helpful to others if people who utilize the permits share and would be beneficial to others.

PCA is for FT not for PR. If PR still suck thumb, 14day quarantine each one way trip.

RGR = business travel
PCA = SG companies can bring in their FT on a reduced 7-day SHN as long as the FT stays in more than 3 mths.

Hello fellow Malaysians who applied and got your PR approved recently, just would like to know, did you guys apply using Option 1 (The downloaded form) or Option 2 (Filling your details online)?

Also, this might sound like a stupid question, but where did you guys take the photo required for application? In those photo shop in the mall?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience πŸ™πŸ»
