Ya, I just scared that the Sg Authorities may check upon permit termination.
Thanks for your advise.
*
After the permit termination, you will get back a white card(visitor), it will then state you can stay XX number of days in SG....as a visitor

Why not list out your expenses per month and decide later?

Salary $5,000

LESS

Tax est $150??
Rent $700
Food $500
Transport $150
Mobile+Internet $50
Others $1000

Can save at least $2000 a month
*
May I know how many people in your family?
I will find that
Rent 700 maybe abit low....renting a Master bedroom(w attached bathroom) already 1k. Even if you were to share a whole unit its around 2k++...say divided by 3...its already close to SGD700...but you need to include your utilities(electricity+water)

Food 500.....even for 1 person is barely enough. Calculations is based on SGD5per meal x3 a day x30 days == SGD450 per person per month

Others 1000...this portion may I know whats the breakdown like? I would think its slightly high

Another thing is should treat the partnership income as a foreign income and lump it together into SG income declaration? SG tax = annual SG salary + MY foreign income, and MY tax = 0.

How to define the day in the 183 days? Spent entire 24 hours in a day in MY? 8 hours? Or see where the person is at midnight? Those that travel in and out everyday JB-SG is tax resident for both countries?
*
should be based on your stay from the immigration perspectives....how long you were in SG

What happened to S$ - just to be around RM3.2 = S$1. Now dropped to RM3=S$1.

It's a norm....when nearby to year-end or CNY....the ringgit will appreciate, after CNY...it will slowly return back....or possible also due to 'election' that is due soon

heard a lot of rumour about that, but i got myself + kids approved, and my wife remains as a PR.
the officer did asked why my wife is not applying and i just replied: she still has property in malaysia to dispose off, and will apply after that.
*
The officer also asked the same exact question to my wife......the reply was my husband(that's myself) will apply later
