Mind to elaborate... what do you mean by "inform LHDN"? I've been wondering, do we still need to do income tax filing in Malaysia legally speaking, considering our SG salary is not taxable in Malaysia? I'm getting mixed answers from online. The tax treaty agreement document from LHDN website doesn't seem to call this out, looks like a grey area sad.gif
*
i also not sure bout this....i didn't really "close" also...
i just file 0 income every year just in case laugh.gif

hey guys, need some clarification here about converting driving license after getting PR.

From Singapore Police Force Website , it said that "New Singapore citizens and PRs must convert their foreign driving licences within 3 months of obtaining citizenship or PR status."

my understanding to this statement is that if i dont convert my msia license to sg license within this 3 months grace period, i couldnt convert anymore in the future. am i correct?
*
well i manage to convert 2 years after i got my PR....so...i think it's not that strict...
but better convert asap if really want as there are rumors of requiring to take practical also for conversion in the future sweat.gif
(currently only need to take the theory test if u already have a msian license)

3. existing company will cancel the EP with MoM
4. new company apply EP for us
5. wait for EP approval then start work at new company

in my whole working experience, only 1 company pay OT and it's at least 4 hours...
the common practice is, if u are degree level and above, usually there's no OT pay...

regarding leaving on time, it's also depends on your field of work and also the urgency of the task.
Just like CreamMilk said, if not urgent, can go back and do tomorrow...

tbh, I very seldom OT and usually go back like 10mins after my working hours...
I'm also lucky that my company practice flexible working hours, which is "You come late then u go back late" laugh.gif

btw, I'm a software programmer smile.gif

QUOTE(Sglang123 @ Oct 11 2018, 11:46 PM)
the reason i quit not because of OT.. it is because the way manager talked to me "if u think thsi job is not suitable for you, you can just leave la "

i admit it was my mistake for printing out wrong cheque... but she can choose other way to scold me right? if i know this job not ngam me i wont apply in the first place ma..

there was 1 time when i confirm one more time the paper should paste into where, she answered me " do you believe i use my phone throw you?"

and there was another 1 case is she ask me go to the bank to pay sgd495.54 and she gave me SGD 495.55 ... i asked is it bank will round up to 495.55 right coz normally in malaysia there is no 1sen so i assume the bank will round up , but she answered me " so you wan me to deduct your salary by 1 sgd?", repeating 3 times this sentence to me. "she is just a manager, not the boss, how tf she can deduct my salary lul''

also in first day she asked me to go medical checkup on weekend, and lady boss heard it and scold her why must weekened only do medical checkup and the lady boss asked me to do it on the next day. maybe this is the reason cause the manager hate me so much...

all these happened in 1 week time.. cant imagine if work with her for few months...

also maybe its my fault .shudnt mention expected saslary in my resume..
*
first of all, i don't think it has anything related to your expected salary...

from your description, it seems she does have something with u....
heard a few case and experience once myself too (luckily not directly under her) sweat.gif

usually since this is your first job(also in sg), try to get used to her behaviour and stay longer...
but if you're confident, then go ahead and change job laugh.gif

it's common to put...
some application form also requires u to fill in that....

but it's still an "optional" field rolleyes.gif
