I would love to know what time do you usually leave office, and also do you rent a room near your workplace in singapore? How about your wife/husband in KL, do they complain that your are far away from them?

Yo guys I'm stuck in a very awkward position in my workplace.

I have been planning to tender my resignation from my job for sometime now. What stopped me from tendering it ASAP was my pending PR application outcome and bonus pay. The approval of my PR and bonus pay came at the same time (PR approved last 2 weeks, bonus came on latest pay). But someone from my department acted faster than me and my manager called an individual meeting to inform us that one of our colleagues has tendered a resignation and my manager was kinda upset or rather disappointed. My manager told me not to give her any more "heart attack" event as she couldn't digest any more of it. She also made a lot of indirect remarks to make me feel I should stay for sometime and contribute more since I got my PR because of the company and told me that a lot companies out there did not handout bonus because of Covid's hit.

Anyone had similar experience? Hahaha now damn sien already. The thing is this colleague of mine tendered with reasons such as too pressured la, can't sleep well la, bla bla. If I use reasons like I got better offer from my brother in overseas you think will work better? Anyone can advise please haha.

To be fair, 6500 is not exactly expat salary.

I left my birthcert in my hometown in malaysia and is unable to travel back at this time to retrieve it.

Is there any other options? Can malaysia embassy help such case?

Whats the purpose of doing so? They will still come back and ask for it right unless doing so can cut down some waiting time while i sort out the missing document.

Another question is, what if I have submitted my PR application but along the way I change company? Do i need to redo everything from the start?
