hahaha... OIS still dont want apply in their flagship.. it's a business.. definitely they can do it but there are a lot of business decision from different aspects, strategy, costs, suppliers, marketing, etc...

probably they have a proper roadmap which enable them to roll out certain sensor & models in upcoming years.. in camera sensor part, they're quite good in business.. lets see for the devices from second half of this year.. hopefully OIS will appear with 128gb storage

Not bias . I quite agree with his review. Beside high end processor and nice build quality the phone is just normal. Even 19MP the guy on top take kl tower blur.

well.. sitting in a moving vehicle at 7:50pm, it's almost all dark by eye visual..
if you know the mechanism about photograph you would know how naive your opinion/review is.
19MP or OIS.. it doesn't help to increase the lights needed for a photograph..

How long can u play with the camera, because previous model, the camera easily got hot and then i cant use the camera as it forces close.

My wife Xperia Z2, is more smooth than my Nougat Samsung S7 edge.

I being using 1 year plus, with 30 -40 apps.

Her phone, with 20-30 apps. smooth like day one.

This is the main reason i'm coming back to Sony.

There are a lot of factors in play here as to why an image turns out the way it does. Aperture is only one of it. Other factors would be the sensor size, sensor quality (not all sensors are built equally), what shutter speed is being use (be it manual/auto), OIS/EIS tech employed, software processing/compression, even the lens themselves and how much light goes through or what distortions the glass produces.

So do not fall for the f1.7 is a smaller number than f2.0, therefor Sony is cheating/cutting back. There could be many reasons why Sony decided to stick to a f2.0 aperture.

For one, remember that apertures on phones are fixed, not variable. And the DOF/Sharpness on focus points etc are determined by both the aperture size as well as the sensor sizes. The larger the sensor, the more variable the DOF can be, in which the Sony does have a larger sensor. Also, do note that, if both apertures at the same, the larger the sensor will capture more light as the surface area is larger.

Is there anywhere you can upload to share the full image? I want to view the EXIF data of the image to further understand the circumstances. Your files has been stripped of it.

there are two choice for me when i decided temporary switching from iOS (5s) to Android as main phone, was using Redmi Note 3 as secondary phone at home for media browsing.

within the two phone, S8 and XZP. i choose XZP after some try on S8.

1. Bezel
For me, S8 is a beautiful machine, however the bezel is abit cacat for me to view most of the media file as the media will be disorted at both curve edge.

2. Music
Due to LDAC and some music steaming function, i will definitely choose Sony. (future investment on Speaker and MDR1000x)

3. Still Photo
No doubt S8 have very good handheld shooting during low light due to its OIS. However i dint see any advantages on XZP during daytime. I have different size of camera sensor for me to choose if i am planning to shoot seriously.

4. Video
I know what 5axis (i owned 1st gen 5 axis sensor shift, not OIS camera from olympus) doing and no doubt clear win for XZP this time(jelly on S8 during panning). you can see comparison on youtube as there are someone post video shooting side to side while walking.

5. Battery use daily
Both are as great as my Redmi Note 3.

6. Battery Health
Paperwise, XZP for Qnovo.

7. Design
No comment since this couldnt be compared as everyone have personal preference.

8. Performance
From peoples review it might be XZP? But no big deal since both are flagship this year and i do not do hardcore gaming on phone.

Conclusion.
No regret getting XZP. Phone it just a tools to ease my daily routine, i am still the main person who control my tools.

You sound smart explaining photography then u capture an image while moving and upload to proof xzp superior 19mp camera blur. Doesn't sound smart after all.

Butthurt samsung fanboy spotted...s8 n xzp both have their pro n cons..s8 trumps overall?i would say app loading speed confirm is faster than s8...s8 pictures look better in low light condition n certain lightning condition...but video stablelization s8 is totally lose to xzp.finger print sensor location s8 for sure is not an ideal location n u say u agree to most of that soya cincau review? Just go back to whatever brand thread u belong n dun hurt ur fragile butt

Not bad,ui very smooth close to stock android but too bad no water proof n only ap machine in Malaysia if not wrong? Water proof is important for me cos sometime i will bath my phone.lol
