No reviewer mentioned a single bit on the speaker performance, issit me the only one still cares bout it?
Sony has been kind to their customers to retain a dual front firing speakers for endless generations, but they are weak AF. Hope they can improve it. |

found out that they still using the same gimmick as Z5P
https://www.lowyat.net/2017/126411/sony-xpe...emium-hands-on/ QUOTE On the other hand, just like the Z5 Premium before it, the Xperia XZ Premium dynamically adjusts its resolution to conserve battery. We’re told that for now, only two apps fire up 4K resolutions: Amazon’s Prime Video app (which also supports HDR playback), and the default Gallery app. Developers will presumably be able to adjust their apps to enable 4K; in all other times the XZ Premium defaults to 1080p. Sony still tirelessly use this trick to trick customers. What is 4K screen if without major app supports on it? even YouTube app also don't have 4K mode for Z5P. Might as well go for other phones with fulltime 2K screen after knowing this, XZP only left the slowmo video cam which is "exclusive" to them at the moment, eager to know what S8 will come up with, the leaked rendering looks promising |

I dont mind the 4k display as long they have resolution settings like in S7/Edge, you can manually change to HD/fHD/2K and 4K for this phone. This way can prolong the battery life. https://www.lowyat.net/2017/126411/sony-xpe...emium-hands-on/ Sony still tirelessly use this trick to trick customers. That 960 fps is killing me. Previously this feature was in Japan only model (I forgot the brand). |

The font is more grainy than even Note 4 I using Z5P hence I know In that case XZS is a more cost viable choice The same history of Z5 vs Z5P repeating |

But the display set sw is not finalise and so not able to show it.I'm so looking forward for this phone! That 960 fps is killing me. XZs with S821, 4gb ram, 64gb storage, super slow motion hardware.. the pricing is quite fair for me.. btw if running in 1080p does it support HDR? but this device do not support HDR display.. also, HDR display must supported by HDR contents as well.. so.. hmm... normal display enhancement like bravia engine/x-reality/vivid mode can boost the display quality quite close to amoled level.. but it depend on personal liking |

QUOTE(nanadeadbeat @ Mar 20 2017, 12:14 PM) would you buy if it is 3399? hmm.. i will wait for next flagship..3399 i will go if there are some free gifts when pre-order.. now XZs preorder will get bundles with some free gifts like SBH80, charging dock, tempered glass, etc... i will go for it if got free gifts..u using xperia phone now? i always wondering is xperia previous phone reali like how what they say, good hardware, but bad software rendering i found the white balance not that clever on previous flagship currently im z5 premium user.. i feel xperia software quite user-friendly.. easy to use and hands-on.. but less customisable like china branded, such as huawei, oppo, xiaomi.. they offer much more user friendly features.. both have pro & cons.. depend on users.. in camera wise, the white balance in xperia always in cooler side.. luckily from z5 series onwards, they added 1 feature name Color & Brightness in superior auto mode.. which able user to adjust the tone accordingly.. so not a big deal.. in daylight most probably no issue with white balance.. only in yellowish situation, always give cooler images.. not sure how is the triple sensing technology improve this, but i dont think major improvement.. overall, quite close to natural colour without color saturation.. |

(due to its outlook) As you said, if they offer lot of freebies, mayb i will give it a try. This post has been edited by nanadeadbeat: Mar 20 2017, 01:44 PM |

Z5 premium = smartwatch 3 XZ = SBH80, microSD?!, tempered glass, case XZs = almost similar as XZ.. + type C charging dock.. XZ Premium = unknown yet.. the reason i bought xperia z5 premium in previous due to the only flagship come with dual sim + microSD.. that point of time, all come with standard 32gb+3gb ram.. but z5 premium come with additional microSD.. when come to year 2016, game had changed.. 64gb, 4gb ram.. even more with 6gb+128gb..
