Hi,

Starting out from scratch and wanted to see if it's possible to build a mini-ITX setup with a GTX1070 for ~7 - 7.5k, monitor, windows 10 OS and mouse + keyboard all included. Appreciate everyone's advice!

[Budget] ~7 - 7.5k

[Purpose] Gaming, HD Movies, some light office work from time to time

[Hardwares that will be re-use] Headphones, no speaker required

[Games & softwares that use frequently] AAA Games

[Personal preferences]
Fractal Design Node 304 Case
GTX1070 Card
Wireless adapter integrated to MOBO
1440p monitor, 25" or less
Windows 10 OS

[Location] KL

If price point is not feasible, might consider downgrading to a 1080p monitor.

Thanks in advance!

1440p is already a big chunk of your budget. How about these?

From Viewnet:
Core i7-7700 - 1399
Asrock H270M-ITX/ac - 549
Apacer 8GB DDR4-2133 X2 - 498

From C-Zone:
Zotac GTX 1070 8GB DDR5 Mini - 1999
Samsung 850 Evo 120GB - 286
WD Black 1TB 2.5" - 299
Super Flower Leadex Gold 550W - 429
Fractal Design Node 304 - 369
Dell U2515H 25" monitor - 1339
Logitech MK100 mouse and keyboard - 49

RM7167 total

You can find cheap OEM Windows 10 from lelong.

Thanks! Just a few more questions:

1. Realise you didn't include a CPU cooler. Is it not required with this build?
2. At this price point would it make sense to go with a 1080p monitor instead and spend more on other parts? If so, which monitor and which parts to swap out?
