Hi everyone.

Just fast question.

recently my friend build ryzen 5 3600 with matx case. along with air cooler scythe mugen 5 rgb version.

but his rig burn test with AIDA64, cpu temperature hit 84c.

i dont think the result is acceptable.

i probably will suspect the thermal paste install incorrect ? matx casing caused bad airflow ?

what should he do to reduce the maximum temperature in burntest ?

Thanks in advance.

hmm, what's your idle temp?
download hwinfo64 then run it with idle, take a snapshot.

then reset hwinfo64
run AIDA64, then take another snapshot.

does 32gb ram(8gb x 4) really matter if i'm not media creator but light/medium gamer ?

lets say i'm using 16gb now, upgrade to 32 gb will speed up at least something in daily use ?

thanks for much info.

i already demo 4 sticks(8gb x 4) in 4 ram slots, all compatibility with my board running with xmp profiles 3200mhz 1.35v

i guess i will purchase 2 more rams for future proofing.

Any target FPS? If your looking to maximise the monitor refresh = FPS, then nothing less than 4090 / 7900XTX

tbh if more or less with the budget , i guess only can go for rtx 4070 ti or something T_T
ignore the 165hz/165fps on specific game. its over budget for me sad.gif

Good that your aware what to expect. 4070Ti erm prolly still over your budget more like OG 4070 or else 7800XT or even 4070 super if can squeeze something

With such your looking at 90-100ish FPS at native so it can still go up via DLSS & FG
