Some people here who recommend an i7 7700 is kinda a joke.. or of course on intel payroll (not accusing anyone but this is a known intel tactic, they actually have shills).[Purpose] Gaming

get a Ryzen 1700. wait for mobos to restock.
AMDs new chips absolutely annihilates intel overpriced parts.
some will jump in and say "btut but but intel is faster for gaming".. yea.. with the scheduler issue (which is being sorted) the i7 is faster by what? 3 fps in some games?.. eg intel is 103fps, amd is 100fps (look at the numbers, the Ryzen chips can play ANY game at ultra quality at 80fps++) and we are talking 1080p. Higher res the Ryzen pulls ahead.
All other tasks, Ryzen goes circles around that i7.. this is a chip that compares to intels RM7000+ 6950X, just open skype and chrome with in background while gaming and see that 4core/8thread i7 struggle to keep consistent fps.
