[B][Budget] fit-for-purpose budget for CPU (desktop) only, exclude monitor, keyboard and mouse.
[Purpose] - mild gaming on CS:GO and PUBG - speedy surfing - speedy torrents download - speedy multitasking (e.g: multiple Excel + Words at the same time etc)
[Hardwares that will be re-use] - HuntKey casing - 500w 80+ PSU - tp-link 150Mbps high power wireless USB adapter - 23" Acer montior - normal keyboard - normal optical mouse - altec lansing 2.1 speakers
[Monitor resolution] - not too sure, but not important to me
[Games & softwares that use frequently] - CS:GO - PUBG potentially
[Personal preferences] - cheap + fast enough to play CS:GO and PUBG
[Location] - Sarawak
Btw, I have new sets of: 1. kingston A400 120gb ssd 2. seagate barracuda 1TB 3.5" 3. ADATA 8GB DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 DESKTOP RAM (XPG SERIES) AX4U240038G16-SBF 4. Zotac Geforce GTX 760
Need your expertise recommend the cheapest build for: Ryzen 3 + mobo

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ May 4 2018, 03:01 PM) I'd personally go for i3-8100 as Intel will give better performance in terms of gaming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qm-SobS2P8thnx for replying ! any budget mobo that you can recommend for i3-8100 ? i have a few in mind: MSI H310M Pro-VDH Colorful Battle Axe C.B360M-HD Deluxe Motherboard Asus Prime B360M-A Asus TUF B360-Plus do all the mobo i listed above leave space for GPU upgrade later ? QUOTE(Kristal.S @ May 4 2018, 04:20 PM) If really depends on your needs. Whether you need extra pcie slots, more ram slots, more usb ports and such. But if you can afford a B360, by all means go ahead with it as it will be a better mobo as compared to the budget H310. Besides, budget mobo will not look as good as the bigger boys (which may be important for some) haha. I'd personally go with either two Asus board that you shortlisted. Never knew colorful has mobo too o.o Yes, all the mobo you listed will support GPU upgrade later. thanks for the info !

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ May 7 2018, 12:01 AM) Ahh yes you would! I thought whatever you do might be more ram intensive thus suggested 16gb ram at first. But if you think 8gb is enough for your usage, here you go CPU: CORE I5 8400 (6C/6T) - 730 RAM: G.SKILL D4 PC2400 AEGIS 8GB - 400 MOBO: ASUS TUF B360 PLUS GAMING - 475 SSD: SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB - 362 HDD: WD BLUE 1TB - 173 PSU: CORSAIR VS550 - 216 CASE: TECWARE NEXUS TG MATX - 149 TOTAL: RM2,505 (Czone price) I swapped the SSD to Samsung 850 Evo 250GB. Thought you could have more space on the SSD to store your audio programs. Feel free to go with the previous suggested SSD if you want to save some money riding on this post...what are the major differences between i3-8100 vs i5-8400 apart from the cores/thread counts ? thanks
