Your PSU and GPU looks a bit overkill for 1080p gaming. So is the RAM, as a matter of fact.
It is a good rig that should last you a while, though.

Possible suggestion to save money or get more value:
1. Can reduce to DDR4-2400, 16GB single stick (though I suspect 8GB is probably plenty for next 2-3 years, for 1080p)
2. Change to another decent brand of SSD but higher capacity (eg 480/500GB) at RM 450 or less

Hey man, thanks for your kind suggestion. After some consideration I decided to go with a 1070ti and stick to a 8GB 2666mhz Ram instead. I saw lots of benchmark videos of MHW on youtube. 1070ti seems to be most capable at handling 1080p fps and seldom suffer dips even in intense fights. Besides that I've just sent a revised spec list to etech, hoping to get a good 500gb SSD recommendation from them.

Any reason why you aim to get 16GB of rams? Else, I recommend going for 8GB for the time being and go for 1070Ti instead for better gaming experience in MHW. Then if you really think 8GB isnt enough, you can upgrade to 16GB at a later stage. Other than that, the parts are good to go.

To be honest, I used to do video editing on my old rig and rendering video uses up to 100% of my ram. So 16gb is a comfortable level for me to still use my pc for browsing while rendering. But I've changed my mind since I'll be going for a 1070ti and stick to a 8GB ram instead. Thanks for your input by the way.
