Dota 2, CS:GO (and other heavy single core application or single threaded application) runs faster on a CPU with higher core clock speed, i.e. i3 7100's 3.9GHz will beat i5 7400's 3.5GHz in those games, but when it comes with multicore or multithreaded application, i5 7400 will lead once again.

Rise of the Tomb Raider favors Nvidia GPU, even in DX12 mode, with the recent driver update (378.78), performance is boosted even more for this games in DX12 mode (they claim to have 20%+ for 10 series GPU).

Intel Core i5 7400 - RM 835
Asus H110I-PLUS - RM 380
G.SKill Aegis 8GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM - RM 289
Gigabyte RX470 4GB GDDR5 G1 Gaming - RM 989 <Cheapest GTX1060 3GB is 1.2k at Idealtech so I will have to use RX470 to replace it>  sweat.gif
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 219
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 219
Shark Zone C10 - RM 199

Total: RM 3130 (Idealtech price inclusive of GST)

Another build with GTX1060 3GB from ETECH:

Intel Core i5 7400 - RM 854
ASRock H110M-ITX - RM 283
G.SKill Aegis 8GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM - RM 255
Zotac GTX1060 3GB GDDR5 Mini - RM 989
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 219
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 195
CM Elite 110 - RM 158

Total: RM 2953 (ETECH price inclusive of GST)
*
Can I simply swap CM Elite 110 with Shark Zone C10 for this build?

Will not recommend SSD with low budget. Especially when you want 1080p.

Core i5-7400 - 799
Asrock H110M-DVS R2.0 - 249
Apacer 8GB DDR4-2133 - 229
Leadtek or Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti 4GB DDR5 - 699
WD Blue or Seagate 1TB - 219
Corsair VS 450W - 189
Tecware F3 case - 125

RM2500 total (Viewnet prices)

For 24" 1080p monitor, you can try LG 24MP68VQ24" at around RM580.

What if I replaced Core i5 with G4560 so that I can save some budget ? Is there any much difference in terms of performance?

Thanks for your suggestion bro.

No. Its cap ayam crap. Update your bios and go for these

Core i5-7400 - 799
Galax GTX 1060 6GB DDR5 EXOC - 1099
FSP Hexa+ 500W - 159

You can even afford i7-7700 if you can sell of your GTX 1050 Ti.

SATA SSD:
*Get models with DRAM cache such as Crucial MX500, Samsung 860

Bro, need an opinion here. I’m using Asrock H110M-HDS LGA1151 motherboard. I already bought i7-7700 proc but i think my mobo doesnt support it. It cannot boot at all even after i already update the bios? In my case, should i buy new motherboard that support i7-7700 or is there is other alternative for me?

Oh? It is listed https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-HDS/#CPU
Have you have tried booting back with your Pentium skylake processor and see if the BIOS is correct (P7.30)?

Also if you have a friend with 270-series board then try your i7-7700 too.

And you can try reach Asrock: https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp

Prev im already using 7th gen intel proc (g4560) bro 😅

honestly, low budget dont play with itx form unless u jz want to build a media center, or jz go matx.
look at ur spec price with other ppl 3k spec, sacrificing performance for a form factor  innocent.gif

sell the proc.

r5 2600 - rm540+-
mobo - asrock b450 k4/pro4 / b450m pro4 | msi b450 a-pro  - rm360 or higher

u can go gigabyte mobo la if u can cheaper.. but dont ever think of OC , might need to tune down the voltage or set to negative voltage offset.

noted. btw how much 2nd hand price for i7-7700 in market nowadays?
