[[Budget]: As low as possible

[Purpose]: Word processing. I'm trying to put up a budget rig which I can give to some secondary school students in the interior part of Sabah. They will need it for their project and assignment.

[Hardwares that will be re-use]: None

[Monitor resolution]: Low

[Games & softwares that use frequently]: Microsoft Office, Windows

[Personal preferences]: Will need a rig with quality parts. The area which this is going to be used may not have reliable power supply (most likely running on power generator).

[Location]: Sabah

Thanks in advance! biggrin.gif

I hope you know quality comes at a price.

Try

Pentium G4560 - 239
Asus H110M-K - 279
G.Skill Aegis 8GB DDR4-2400 - 299
WD Blue 1TB - 219
FSP Hexa+ 450W - 199
Tecware F3 case - 125
Acer DL2020 20" - 379

RM1739 (Idealtech prices. Some parts subject to change due to availability)

Optional:
Super Flower Leadex Silver 550W (higher quality) - 359
Koss 800VA AVR - 99

Thanks for the help TristanX. On a side note, would it be better if I were to grab a low-end laptop instead?
