QUOTE(Ebony & Ivory @ Jun 30 2017, 07:48 AM) with that price, better get ryzen 5 1600 6C/12T, a tons better and should last longer than a 4C/4T i5. for mobo, if u no need some features like sli, can get cheaper one. heating issue? i think u refer to amd previous generation cpu bulldozer right? for ryzen, don't worry it utilize a new micro architecture and process node, the power usage is quite efficient and comparable with intel kaby lake. ryzen 7 1700 8C/16T tdp only 65w lol. How's ryzen's performance? didn't really look into it but seems like the series has been quite a challenge to intel? ryzen 1600 + gigabyte ab350m -gaming 3? don't really plan to sli.
