May I know which CPU would suit the GTX 1050 Ti the best? AMD and Intel
I came across Intel i5 8400 and Ryzen 5 1600 but people say the GPU bottleneck the cpu
For gaming, CPU should cost under RM900

QUOTE(derthvadar @ Mar 11 2018, 11:51 PM) Option 1 - Upgrade you power supply unit. The best option among others. Which power supply will suit it best? Hope it doesn't cost too much because this option stretched the budget a bit This post has been edited by RavenSn: Mar 12 2018, 12:10 AM

My friends say that Ryzen 3 1200 bottlenecks GTX 1060 6G, so Idk what do you guys think of these 2
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (6C/12T) - RM859 Asus Prime B350-Plus - RM533 Corsair D4 PC2400 Vengeance LPX 4GBx2 - RM476 Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC - RM879 Seasonic S12 II 520W - RM265 Tecware Edge TG ATX - RM199 Total RM3211
Intel Core i5-8400 (6C/6T) - RM746 MSI Z370 Gaming Plus - RM599 Corsair D4 PC2400 Vengeance LPX 4GBx2 - RM476 Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC - RM879 Seasonic S12 II 520W - RM265 Tecware Edge TG ATX - RM199 Total RM3164
Or if you think these are bad, given a budget around RM3200 what would you build

QUOTE(derthvadar @ Mar 15 2018, 11:24 PM) Personally I will go with the Intel build for gaming. You can wait for cheaper alternative motherboard. Got a few questions 1. Single channel memory 8GB or dual channel memory 4GBx2 will be better on this build? 2. Can this build play PUBG? 3. Anything else I should adjust on the build? Thanks

QUOTE(derthvadar @ Mar 16 2018, 06:46 PM) 1. Personally I always prefer dual channel than single channel memory. 2. Yes, you can play PUBG flawlessly on medium/low setting. 3. Add SSD 120GB if you have extra budget. It make your system faster. Intel Core i5-8400 (6C/6T) - RM746 Gigabyte Z370M-DS3H - RM519 Corsair D4 PC2400 Vengeance LPX 4GBx2 - RM476 Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC - RM879 WD Green 120GB - RM258 Corsair VS450 - RM180 Tecware Nexus MATX - RM149 Total RM3207 Is this ok

QUOTE(derthvadar @ Mar 16 2018, 08:27 PM) Its seem fine for me. Well balanced. The motherboard price really kill your budget. But do you have an external hard drives for your system? If not then just swap out that 120GB SSD for 1TB Western Digital Blue - RM189 You can always add SSD later. Luckily I have an old HDD that I can reuse Thanks for helping me btw

QUOTE(TristanX @ Mar 21 2018, 11:41 PM) Option 2 due to upgradeability. AMD supports the same socket till at least 2020 But if I go for Option 1 I still can upgrade the GPU in the future right? Because I've seen benchmarks that Intel is better than Ryzen in gaming.

CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370M-DS3H RAM: Corsair D4 PC2400 Vengeance LPX 8GB GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC HDD: WD Blue Desktop 1TB SSD: Samsung 950 EVO 250GB PSU: Corsair VS450 Case: Tecware Nexus MATX
I got my new rig from C-Zone and they built it for us Upon starting up the PC, I realised that the fans that came with the case aren't spinning even after the case is heating up, what could be the possible reason?
