Need Recommendation to build a rig for my friend.

Budget RM4000 for rig only ; and please recommend a 4k monitor (Not included in the RM4000 Budget as we do not have idea about monitor yet)

Usage: Gaming (Cities Skyline, Battlefield, Starcraft, GTA) ; Light Graphic design and photo/video editing(Photoshop, adobe premier, illustrator) and of course MS Office and sometime MS Visio.

Prefer Hardware: Intel Processor Only, at least 240GB SSD, 1TB Hard disk, slim chassis.

GPU can be Nvidia or Radeon. Both brands are acceptable.

Need Recommendation to build a rig.

Budget: RM3000.00
Usage: MS Office, MS Visio, Adobe Lightroom, Cities Skyline
Hardware to reuse: 1tb hard disk and chassis. My psu is 7 years old 500watt, can I reuse ?
Prefer: Both Intel or AMD are okay. Previous rig was AMD.
If possible, prefer USB type-c on motherboard for future proof.

Wow I though Value RAM only cost like RM250 few months ago ?

I will share this rig with my wife, she keeps bugging about USB type-C. Is that important ?

Is it better to get Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel 8400 now ?

I ask this because of the existence of Spectre and Meltdown. I hear their patches (on Window) will slow down cpu performance by 30%+.

So will intel or amd has the less impact ?

Given prices of RAM, SSD and GPU are high, especially RAM. Will it be cheaper to buy it in Korea where Im going to travel ?

Need to build a rig again. This time the rig will be mainly use for Cities Skyline.

Prefer: Intel and Nvidia (Did some research, this game favour intel and nvidia)

Saw on Youtube, >100K population GTX1050ti only give 40-60fps at high setting. Quite makan GPU.

Require: SSD

Reuse: CM 690 Chassis and Harddrive.

Budget: RM3200
