QUOTE(tongaz86 @ May 2 2017, 10:13 PM) Final Has our local price gone up a lot in recent months?MSI RX580 GAMING X 8GB - RM1295 RYZEN 5 1600 - RM1039 ASROCK AB350 GAMING K4 - RM519 KINGSTON HYPER FURY 2400MHZ 8GB - RM340 EVGA 500B PSU - RM259 NZXT S430 - RM399 TOTAL - RM3851 (ActiveLansing JB) My final built. Anything wrong with it. Will be gaming on 1080p. Please comment based on your taste. More opinion will improve it. KINGSTON HYPER FURY 2400MHZ 8GB - RM340 I just checked my friend's receipt which I configure mid to late last year, his Hyper X Fury DDR4 2600MHZ was bought at RM180. Just curious about price hikes as I'm configuring one for myself and haven't been following the price list for awhile now. |

Sifus,
Torn between Asus Strix Z270-G and Z270-E, couldn't find out much difference between the two but RGB lighting position is diff. Any comments which spot nicer? Also torn between Asus Strix 1050TI and Strix 1060 for its RGB, spec wise 1050TI should do max for my frequent day to day Dota2, potential nice upcoming MMOs as well. Any comments for the lightings? IMO, the 1060 won't look nice in my target build but 1050TI RGB only on the small logo. Will pair with NZXT X-42 and Trident Z RGB. Don't bash me coz I'm a sweet tooth for those RGBs. Not sure where else to share my indecisiveness. :'( This post has been edited by FollowMeRogerThat: May 16 2017, 02:47 PM |

QUOTE(starz92 @ May 19 2017, 09:27 AM) Sifus, Asus FTWPenang local shop all really CMI..just went to BJ and the stock they have are so limited.. Didn't even bother to check the price for me just tell me they no stock... Planning to get from Idealtech instead but still contemplating as I am from other state. Anyway, here is one of the build from them...can help to evaluate? 1. i7-7700k ASUS ROG STRIX Z270F GAMING Deepcool CAPTAIN 240 EX (RED) Liquid Cooling (240L Radiator) GSKILL RipjawsV RED 2x4GB DDR4 2800mhz EVGA GTX1080 8GB DDR5X 256BIT FTW2 Gaming ICX FSP HYDRO 600W (80+ Bronze/NON MODULAR)* Sharkoon S25-W(Full Transparent Window/2x 12CM at front/1x12cm LED Rear/2xUSB3.0/Support Water Cooling) SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB V-NAND (540/520) WD 1TB Caviar Blue ASUS Internal 24X DVDRW DAMAGE : RM8024 Is there any major difference between Asus Strix mobo with the Gigabyte HD3 model? I can save a few bucks there and top up to a gold tier and full modular PSU. Also, any comment on EVGA GPU?? or should i go for Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme at the same price ? Thanks in advance. Btw, why Z270F and not G or E? for F you'll still need a WiFI dongle if wireless required. I'm building one too, but can't decide for the lightings of G and E |

QUOTE(starz92 @ May 19 2017, 11:28 AM) I DO need wireless and bluetooth.... plan to get the Rm200 offer ASUS PCE-AC55BT which give me wifi and bluetooth access.. G and E has Wifi built in that's why they are my current choices. Not too keen on dongle.I do not know this previously but seems that I can get built in mobo one with G or E as well..Price diff should be roughly the same. in fact cheaper Z270F + ASUS PCE-AC55BT = 933+200 =RM1133 Z270G = RM1046 *E more expensive le.. do you care about the RGB location? the E is a lightning bar at top and G at bottom which is ROG logo. Tell me which one you prefer heh, not considering the price. This post has been edited by FollowMeRogerThat: May 19 2017, 01:36 PM |

Hi Sifus,
My friends PC recently got spilled with water and PC was not able to turn on, although PC fans were still spinning. We replaced with a new Mobo Asus TUF b460m plus and new processor. Now the PC is up and running ok. Is there any stability test worth running for say overnight or few hours to make sure everything is ok? Hope this post ok with this section. |
