Hi Sifus,
Need some help for PC-upgrading!
Current Build:
Intel Core i5-6400 ASUS H110I-PLUS Corsair 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM (x2) - Total 16gb Leadtek Winfast GTX 750TI OC 2GB GDDR5 Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD WD Blue 1TB HDD FSP Hexa+ 550W CM Elite 110
Mini-ITX build, just want to experience smoothness and no lag if I run games like PUBG while having miscellaneous programs/10-12 tabs of Chrome open. I'm not sure if what I have is good enough for the next few years. What do you recommend to upgrade? - Notice that GTX1060 is generally the minimum for PUBG right? If I go over the top for 1070, will it be better or should i spend that money to upgrade other stuff?
Budget maybe up to RM2.5k
Current monitor: BENQ GL2460, 1080p Mouse and keyboard will be reused
Thanks a lot! Sorry for the long list of questions

QUOTE(TristanX @ Jan 19 2018, 01:06 PM) Yeah, upgrade to at least GTX 1060 6GB. After that, the CPU. Second hand i7-7700 or... AMD Ryzen 5 1600 - 1039 Asus Prime B350M-A - 445 Thanks Tristan. If I get a brand-new i7-7700 and GTX1060 at the same time, will that be better or just go for a GTX1070 first, then CPU upgrade later on? If I opt for Ryzen then i'll have to change mobo right? Would it be better to just stick to intel for now? Sorry for the newbie questions

QUOTE(TristanX @ Jan 19 2018, 02:29 PM) Your best upgrade without changing mobo is i7-7700 second hand. New i7-7700 not worth the price. I value that below 1k due to the competition and i5-8400 (also requires change of mobo). Remember to update BIOS before changing to i7-7700. I would think GTX 1070 first is better upgrade. Ryzen needs new motherboard. Alright thanks! Will think about it and take it from here. Appreciate the help!

Hi all, Budget: RM2.5k max Need some help for upgrading CPU and Mobo for my mini-ITX rig. Thinking of Ryzen 5 3600? I think my ram is still usable. Looking to add on an ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 1TB as well. Usage: Mostly gaming (okay with Medium settings)/work - wordprocessing and excel/video streaming/youtube/netflix. Intel Core i5-6400 ASUS H110I-PLUS Corsair 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM (x2) - Total 16gb Zotac GTX 1060 6gb mini Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD WD Blue 1TB HDD FSP Hexa+ 550W CM Elite 110 No issues with my graphics card for the next 2 years right? If I'm usually playing CS GO etc. No high end titles at the moment... but if I do try them out, I think I can only run it at medium (at best)? Thanks a lot in advance
