After studying up abit on the parts, I've decided on cutting some corners and settled on the following;
Ryzen 5 2600 - Same

Asrock B450M PRO4 - Same

RX 570 (Previously planned on Zotac GTX 1660S Twin Fan) - After going through my steam library (which is just full of rougelike's and Dota2), opted for the cheaper GPU which is more than sufficient with the games I dabble in. Even considered a Ryzen 5 3400G at one point, since it benchmarked pretty well for the games I currently play.

Klevv Bolt X 3200Mhz 8GBx2 (Previously planned on Corsair Vengeance LPX) - Despite not having much reviews online on it, figure can't really go wrong with RAMs, so opted for the cheapest option I could find.

PNY CS3030 SSD 250G - Same. Was considering to downgrade to a SATA SSD but after reading more about NVMe, needed to experience for myself the speed.

Seagate Barracuda HDD 1TB - Same

NZXT C650 - Same. I've seen alot of budget builds go for cheaper PSU's but saw alot of advice to never cheap out on a unit. 650watt may be overkill for the parts I have now, at the very least it would not be a hassle if I ever decide to upgrade from the RX 570.

Cougar MX350 (Previously planned on Phanteks P400A) - Half the price of the Phanteks and have some decent reviews. Honestly just wanted to cut some more cost.
Total rounded up to RM2634, which is about 800 cheaper than what I planned initially. Can't wait to start building.

if ram want go for 16gb x2 and leave another 2 slot for future upgrade better or direct put 8gb x4 better?

Yeah, that was what I'm scared of. Cause in the ecommerce sites, when the condition of the cards are questioned, the seller would say its new.
Can they get away with calling a refurbished unit new though?

I don’t think I will spend high end cards. Mid range? Something between 1k to 2k below gpus

According to Gamers Nexus you can actually do 1080p high with a RX570, so probably something in the line of a 10100F + H410 + RX570 should do the trick just fine

The MWE v2 is arguably the better ones out there, with a modern LLC + DC-DC design.  Sure it's not flawless (the MWE v2 is known to suffer from high power ripple at idle, but it's still within the ATX spec nonetheless)

Of course, there's also the Thermaltake GX1/Leadex Silver ECO as well (tier C, but one of the better ones out there )

Which MWE v2 you are talking about?

From a performance standpoint, probably the MWE v2 is equal or better than the Silver ECO (not by much though), then the P650B being the last

Then the Silver ECO is better, as the MWE Bronze v2 x50W is technically a tier below than the x00W variant due to difference in input voltage (230V on the x50W, 100-240V on the x00W)

Hi, wanted to ask if Tecware Forge S case (ATX sized, not the microATX Forge M) can fit the Galax RTX 3070 SG?

According to both their websites, the GPU is 317mm (up to 329mm with anti-sag bracket), and the maximum GPU clearance for the Forge S case is 330mm, so it *should* be able to fit.

However, I've seen one post online with a Forge M + Asus ROG Strix 3080 build (319mm long), and it barely fits the Forge M chassis, which has 10mm extra GPU clearance than the Forge S.

Should I continue with the Tecware+Galax combo, or drop the Tecware case and go for something more upmarket (i.e Phanteks or Lianli) to avoid potential issues? Any sifu please advise. (sorry for long post btw)
