Hi.

Currently this is my rig. Any suggestion for the upgrades? Budget around rm2k

Proc: intel g4560
Gpu: zotac 1050 Ti Mini
Ram: gskills aegis 8gb
Hdd: toshiba 1tb hdd
Case : xfive n2
Mobo: Asrock H110M-HDS LGA1151

Look for Core i5-7500 or i7-7700 second hand and GTX 1060 6GB (if your power supply is 400W or better). Both fits your budget easily.

How about these?

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - 649
MSI B450M Pro VDH - 359
Kingston 8GB DDR4-2666 X2 - 518

If you sell your stuffs first, you might be able to get Ryzen 7 2700X.

Hi,

Can someone help me to choose a new case close to tecware nexus m looks. Looking for matx case with enough clearance for AIO mounted on top .

Im currently on nexus m case and trying to find some option to make it more cooler for noise reduction. Im unable to mount the AIO(ID Cooling 240) with fans on top as it is hitting the ram, currently mounted it on the front, adding more heat to my gpu.

Should not be a problem to support the memory, but you will need to update the bios to support 2600

For around the same pricing, the 2600 will be best value for sure. Having said that, would prefer higher speed RAM such as 3000 or 3200 MHz rather than 2666, coz Ryzen 2600 can OC well...

Meanwhile, for the i3-8100, can go for 2400 MHz ram coz Intel wont see that much improvement from higher speeds ram like AMD will... And 8100 cannot OC also.

As for the 2200G, no point to pair that with the RX580, IMO. Choosing 2200G, you are literally wasting the APU, compared to 1300x

Hmm... Interesting power supply. Will check it out
https://www.goldfries.com/hardware-reviews/...-supply-review/

Some say it is EVGA's really budget series and not that great quality.

Thanks for the reply. I will do more research on the psu. Do u have any suggestions where a budget psu that have full sleeve cable. The other one that i found is aigo gt500w. My budget for psu is around 200.

For ram, higher clock ram is pretty expensive. Does it really make a significant different when OC? Im willing to used normal hdd instead of ssd and upgrade my ram if i have to.

Can get 3200mhz RAM around RM300. With Ryzen can feel the difference 2666mhz vs 3200mhz. You can use 2666mhz and OC it, but stability will be an issue.

SSD also important for speed, especially with Win10 sweat.gif

After the fall of coin mining, there's a lot of second hand GC in the market. Can save some budget from here.

Rather than save on parts and limit your psu budget, save a bit more to be able to allocate around rm 350-400 for a good psu that should last 3-5 years and give you peace of mind.

Higher clocked ram is only about rm 30-50 more for 8gb, unless you want top rated rgb lit ones.

Best power supply reviews comes from Jonnyguru, Anandtech, Techpowerup and Tom's hardware. They test the PSU throughly.

Dont get your hopes high from other PSU reviewers.
