Hi all, recently found my PC have been sluggish when doing Excel work and opening multiple apps. Probably time to upgrade on RAM but want to have thoughts and recommendations on what can be upgraded since is been a while since the last.

[Purpose]

Normal Excel usage. For gaming, mainly on PathOfExile currently but if upgraded, am keen to play older titles like BaldursGate3 / GodOfWar Ragnarok / DM5. Doesnt have to be on max settings.

He already has a 16GB stick, why still 2x8GB.

Depending on spreadsheet complexity, 16GB may not be enough. My use case even 16GB I can feel it slow when working across multiple datasets. Upgraded to 32GB helps a lot.
Plus thats pretty much the last upgrade it will take so why not maximise it. Also soon DDR4 RAM will go up 50% in pricing https://www.techspot.com/news/108224-ddr4-p...dr5-beyond.html

Again, you do not even need Ultra settings for games, as they tend to offer minimal visual quality improvements at the vast expense of performance loss
If you know your graphical settings you can get 4K gaming on a fairly modest GPU - see Digital Foundry for an example

Thats a good price considering its less than RM 100 more than USA MSRP. Somemore in USA prices are being scalped. Here I guess market perception for Nvidia so strong, nobody is scalping Arc.

Crazy to think at launch 9070XT was sold at RM 3500-3800 nearly double the price today. AMD Msia totally no control and allowed their distros to scalp hard.

Hi all. Need some help here. I just realize my psu is only 600w instead of 650w. This means im not having enough power right? Currently assembled parts per above but on bootup VGA is on redlight at motherboard.

If yes, any recommendations on psu for me? Current case is deepcool CL500 on B550 Asrock pro 4.

TristanX myway1985 Possible to get new 5700X3D?  Looks like most AM4 X3D chips are pretty much EOL'd and I don't really want a platform upgrade and the remaining ones seems overpriced

My current heatsink fan is making some grinding noise - if I were to change the fans only what should I get?

Hi guys, update. So i updated my motherboard bios via instantflash. While changed back to old gpu with new cpu, able to boot into windows. After swapping back to new gpu, the motherboard doesnt have redlight indicator when turn on (gpu fans are spinning). Seems to be able to boot however my monitor display is not working when connected. Any clues?
