The MSI Gaming Plus is fine though, 87C is perfectly fine for VRMs (I'd say VRM temps under 90C is perfectly safe)

As long as it's not throttling, it is fine - note that many VRMs/MOSFETs are designed to handle up to 150C:

If TS is only gaming VRM temps are even more of a non-issue as gaming power consumption tends to be much lower and sustained than say, 3D work or exporting videos

However if OP goes for RT settings, its 5070 > any Radeon.

Why settle for 2nd best? Topup that and go with 5070TI, beats that Radeon on raster & RT. And driver issue will be settled with time.

I will be upgrading my pc from intel to amd on a tight budget. I don't plan to do any overclock but want pc good enough for modern gaming. No need 4k because only have 1440p monitor.

Plan to get 7500f, 32gb, m.2 with 1tb, 750w psu, and will use current graphic card.

Haven't decide on motherboard. Is msi b650m gaming wifi a good motherboard? I need to keep motherboard budget below 800 ringgit. Cheers.

Hey guys. I'd like to ask for some advice from all the sifus here in the forum.

I'm currently running

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 4 x 8GB DDR4
Mobo: Gigabyte B550M DS3h
GPU: Zotac GTX1660 Super

I'm using a 1080p monitor at 60hz. I'm not looking to increase the resolution or frequency.

I'd like to ask if there is a point in upgrading the GPU to say an Arc B580 or similar. For gaming, mainly. I'm wondering if there is a possibility to get 60fps in 1080 at max settings in games like Expedition 33.

I know that my mobo is not the best and there's no VRM cooling so going for an AM4 X3D CPU may not be an option.

What is your opinion? Should I upgrade with a budget of maybe 2k to 3k?

I saw the Asrock B580 Challenger 12GB for about 1.5k on Shopee. In that case, should I use the extra cash to get the 5700X3D?

Or would it still be better to go for the 5060 Ti 16GB with 5700X3D?

I'm also currently using the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo for cooling. Case fans also maxed out. Not sure if that is sufficient.
