Cant dl the other one yet right

From the short time I've played it, cooperative multiplayer in a story campaign but you can partner up with an AI if you dont want to play with anyone.

Yeah the other one comes out in Aug 27.

I'm toying with the idea of building an ITX.
If I'm only gaming (no OC) and streaming Netflix along with the occasional Excel, how much of this is unnecessary?

Also, if I were to buy parts (not specific to the above) from overseas stores, which ones would be the least likely to need an RMA? I'm thinking the RAM and SSD along with CPU cooler and fans.

hi does anyone know if this TECWARE NEXUS EVO ARGB can fit the cooler master hyper 212 cooler?

Thanks.
*
Wow that case looks so much like a NZXT 500.

It looks like a very tight fit, the max your case can fit is a 160mm height cooler so youre going to have to buy the right Hyper 212 cooler.

Edit: Hyper 212s arent all the same size.

Hi Sifus,

Here is my current spec

CPU - i7-2600
RAM - 8gb
GPU - ASUS GTX 1050
PSU - MWE GOLD 550 FULLY MODULAR

I wish to play PUBG with high setting, any opinion for best GPU i should buy within rm2k (if its possible)? and is it my current cpu will bottleneck the performance?

Thanks~
*
How would you feel about upgrading your rig?
CPU - RYZEN 5 2600 RM 599
MOBO - ASROCK B450 STEEL LEGEND RM 420
GPU - GALAX GTX1660TI 6G ( 1COC ) RM 1199

RM2218

Of course you could just get a GPU like the RTX 2060 Super to max out your budget but yeah you'll bottleneck

Which one to buy?

PS5 or PC. Im in dilemma. Issit wise to play game on ps? Last ps i had was ps2..then moved to pc gaming..now thinking to try ps5 with 65" tv + anda seat kaiser 2.

Any of u guys had ps4 and pc?? Which one u mostly use?
*
So I built my PC during the PS3 era. It was RM4k 10 years ago and it's still doing fine playing current games, all I had to do was change the GPU 5 years ago. If you have a decent budget for good parts, then your PC will be able to last a couple console generations.

I have a PS4, I use it equally especially when PS gets the game much earlier than PC. There is also the PS plus free game monthly promo. For RM150 a year, you get at least 12 AAA games. If you're on a budget, console gaming is the way to go.

Might be better to drop the RTX2070 Super for a RX5700XT Pulse for RM1959 - similar performance for less icon_idea.gif

Then use the remaining for a bigger SSD or a better monitor icon_idea.gif
*
How firm is that price for the 5700 XT?

I've been thinking of either building a rig now with an RTX 2060 or waiting for the 5700 XT.

Not sure - might be helpful to ask lingloong hmm.gif

The ASUS Strix would be the only one that has a triple fan setup and is available here, but I don't recommend it as it is one of the worst non-reference RX5700/XT you can get and is very overpriced as well (RM2500 for a RX 5700 XT Strix) icon_idea.gif

Sapphire's Pulse might have only 2 fans but it outperforms the ASUS in terms of noise and thermals, and it is a more compact card as well icon_idea.gif

It's also worth noting that the 5700 XT can perform very close to a 2070 Super, BTW icon_idea.gif
*
Yeah I was holding out for the 5700 XT for the very fact that it's almost on par with the 2070S.

I was thinking of getting the aorus 2060 non-super for RM1800 since it was one of the 3 fan cards that had good reviews.

I'm thinking of building an ITX build so I'm trying to get the best thermals I can afford within my budget. So if you're saying that I can get a card that's within budget with good thermals and performance but only has two fans, then it's worth waiting.

EDIT: When is it going to be available?

EDIT 2: I see it's available at lazada for the price you quoted.

What do you guys do when you want a part but it's sold out everywhere and you dont want alternatives?

I'm looking for a NF-A12x25 but no one seems to have it in stock on Lazada or Shopee.

EDIT: Ok, I'm open to alternatives. I want to use this fan as a side intake (across the GPU). What would you recommend.
Casing is Antec Illusion 300, CPU cooler is DH-U14, GPU is RX 5700 XT. A side fan that is 15mm thick or less would work.

Yeah, I might stretch the budget a bit for more SSD space. I have 2 HDD Black and Green WD.

Another question, is RTX worth it compare to GTX? in terms of video editing?
*
Some would say to trash the Green WD for lack of DRAM.

What kind of videos would you be editing, 4k? Get a GTX and put the extra money in a processor instead.

*
Any particular aorus boards you're seeing this on? When I googled I saw a lot of RMA on aorus pro.

Anyway I've got an aorus pro too and it's been fine over the past month. So far so good hope it stays that way

I'm using super stable Super Flower Leadex II Gold 850W on X570 Aorus Master. No issue so far. Power supply output quality also affect reliability.
*
I'm using EVGAs supernova 650W. Did you plug in 8 pins for the CPU or 12? I dont overclock but I just plugged in all the available ports.

Anyway, from what I read on google, the Aorus boards that were RMA because they were DOA. So I think if ours works, we are in the clear for now.

Ya, I am thinking in order to get to 4k/2k resolution which part of my current rig need to be upgraded. Possible trying to make it in Rm2-2.5k including monitor.
*
To game smoothly at 4K, youre gonna need an RTX 2080 which would increase your budget by at least another RM2k.

You could buy an RX 5700 for 2K gaming, they usually are in the RM1.6k range.

Youre gonna have to top up another RM500 to get a 1440p (2k) monitor like the VX3258 (32")

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't notice that the need for GPU for 4k going is so high. If only for 4k home theater setup, is my  GPU need to upgrade?
*
If you just want to use it to watch 4K media, first buy a 4K monitor or 4K UHD TV. Those already cost RM2k minimum.

Assuming you already have a 4K monitor, you can use integrated graphics on the CPU to watch 4k movies. Now, your CPU has integrated graphics but it's from 10 years ago unfortunately it can only output 1080p (1k). You need to upgrade your PC to a new CPU, and that means new mobo and ram.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G RM559
MOBO: ASROCK B450 STEEL LEGEND RM420
RAM: KINGSTON HYPERX FURY 2666 16GB RM285

You can reuse the other parts in your current rig to bring the cost down.

The GPU, PSU, Storage and casing should still be good
Also. I'm assuming your casing is a mid tower ATX.

Hi, for laptop, which SSD type is better or is there any difference? Nvme, 2.5", msata, so on?
*
State which laptop you have or better yet how you're going to connect the storage to the laptop. If it's via SATA, then you're better off sticking with a 2.5" SSD.

This new Ryzen  3000  seems have so many  compatibility issues .

i am reading  more people  getting system freeze  due to compatibility issues between  cpu ,  ram , mother board and even  Win 10  and PSU  !
IS it worth the  stress and headaches.

*
The ones who are having problems are very vocal and right fully so but dont let mislead you into believing that the CPU is faulty. I'm one of those guys who has a rig with a 3600 on an x570 board and mine just works. Also, most of the complaints in that thread is related to people using it on b450 boards via flashing BIOS which was giving problems back in July.

Is budget 2020 gonna make gadgets more expensive
*
No idea about that but budget 2019 is going to make gaming more expensive next year when they finally introduce taxation to digital vendors like steam.

Here's hoping everything will fit in the case would probably get a Noctua NH-L9a CPU cooler to replace the stock cooler but overall
*
If you do want to use the stock cooler, you have to remove the shroud if I'm not mistaken.

Go for it.

You can also get a smaller SX8200 256 GB SSD at RM200 and use the extra RM100 for games.
