If you want high settings at 1080p, GTX 1060 6GB. You can go for Samsung 850 Evo 250GB at RM438 for the SSD.

If you can wait.

i5-8400 better for gaming. Ryzen 5 1600 has better longetivity due to socket support.

Hi guys
I want to build an entry level pc for my company for graphic design purposes for in-house use and i dont know where to start
and i was directed here.

[Budget] the cheaper the better

[Purpose] Since this PC will be build particularly for a new person who's joining my company to help me for some in-house design works
And currently all the PC in the company are focused onto Accounts, Invoicing and Data Storage, these computers are not made for hardware-intensive program like
photoshop or illustrator. Currently i want to look for an entry-level PC build particularly for running programs like Photoshops, Illustrators and Indesign.

[Hardwares that will be re-use]None, will build from the group up

[Monitor resolution]Need 2 monitors 1440*900 reso should be enough

[Games & softwares that use frequently]
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Google Chrome
Discord

[Personal preferences]
Dont need to be too good,
but almost all the current PC in the offices are running only 2Gb
and photoshop Loads very very Slow.

Intel has better gaming capability but less on upgradeability
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-...0-cpu,5281.html

Switch to these parts for Intel

Core i5-8400 - 779
MSI Z370 Gaming Plus - 599
Don't look at the picture, look at the spec.

Means if you go Intel Coffee Lake (Z370), next upgrade in the future will be changing CPU, motherboard and maybe RAM again. AMD still supports the same motherboard and RAM till at least 2020.

PUBG? Nope. You have to dial down the settings for GTX 1050. Recommended for PUBG is GTX 1060 6GB if u want high settings.

I don't mind playing games with lowest settings as it could easier for me to see things that high graphics can't see. laugh.gif So 1050 is a little too hard for it even with lowest possible settings? hmm.gif

Yeah, you might have to live with very low settings.

You can try medium and see.

Oh, like that, ok well if i really go through this upgrade, it will be use for another 5 year at least. The reason i am thinking of an upgrade is because of my current CPU motherboard, ram and GPU is already 6yrs old.

I am currently still considering whether should i just invest 1.5k for my GPU upgrade or 3k or all the Motherboard together.

Sorry to kacau again but I saw the link you posted earlier, it says is has to have 16GB of RAM to get the game to run smoothly. 8GB will have some performance issue or just pass at minimal? hmm.gif

Should have no problem as 8GB is listed as the minimum requirement.

Go for R3 1200 + GTX1050ti.

You can overclock the R3 1200 up to 3.8 GHz.
