I have no experience using ryzen CPUs that's why I'm a bit skeptical. What if I take i3-8100 & GTX1060 3GB as supposed to i5-7400 & 1050Ti? Would that be a better combo?

still lose to ryzen 5... only i7-8700k can head on ryzen r7 1700x... the rest still lose to ryzen in gaming + rendering performance..

I still have yet to bump into game lag since switching to Ryzen 7 1700 from i7-4790K. Buttery smooth gaming. I didn't even overclock it yet.

i3-8100 is faster but u have to buy Z370 motherboard which is expensive. Unless you can wait till next year with proper date for Coffee Lake budget motherboards.

Yup I understand. But I got this quote from Tech View IT which I think is pretty reasonable:

Intel i3 8100 Processor
Asrock Z370M-Pro4 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 2400Mhz Ram
WD 1TB BLUE HDD
Gigabyte Windforce OC GTX1060 3GB Graphic Card
Corsair VS450 Power Supply
Tecware F3 Casing
RM2850

I think this is a pretty solid budget built and should handle pubg just fine right? smile.gif

Recommended to go GTX 1060 6GB. I read somewhere it is a VRAM hogger. I think there is a price drop for GTX 1060. Check with newer price list.

Hi guys! Can I have your feedback for this build?

Planning to use this as a portable gaming/work station.

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 Strix OC 8GB
Mobo: ASUS ROG STRIX B350-I Gaming (Hoping to get this one when it becomes available)
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 1x16GB 3200mhz
SSD: Samsung 250GB 850 EVO M.2
HDD: Seagate 1TB 2"5 BarraCuda
Case: Fractal Design Node 202
PSU: Corsair SF600
Cooler: Cryorig C7
Case Fan: Corsair SP120 2x

I was planning to buy everything from Ideal Tech but they informed me that they don't assemble non-full rig PCs even if you pay a fee.
I already have the Graphics Card so I guess asking them to build it is not an option anymore. Any stores in KL/PJ you can recommend to do the assembling for me?

Thanks very much!

I like the minimalist kind of design, plain looking and would blend nicely with the furniture.
If one of the sides of this case was tinted tempered glass, I'd be all over it!

Do they also assemble the PC nicely for a fee? Like they build it like it's their own, and not just throw everything in and hope it boots up.
And given that not everything is purchased from their store.

Guys,

I've ordered a Noctua NH-D15S for my i7 8700K but till now still not yet arrived so I'm thinking of cancelling the order and go for AIO instead and thinking of getting the H115i.

does anyone know how many years warranty corsair gives for the pump and is the performance better than the Noctua NH-D15S?

Any case recommendation as well that's as large as a Corsair Carbide Air 740 that can fit this AIO cooler?

No idea. I assemble my own rig myself.

You can always say your GPU is from previous PC.

Price may be different next month. Especially there is still no budget motherboard for Coffee Lake and RAM price hike.
