That is correct. This monitor supports Free Sync, not G Sync.

Freesync + Nvidia cards is as finicky as you can get. You can force it to work by installing a AMD Ryzen CPU with in built GPU and trick the system into thinking it's AMD powered, then switch to Nvidia GPU to obtain a pseudo G-SYNC. LinusTechTips did a video on it. Original author is on reddit i believe.

However that can be a pain in the ass to do. Easiest one will be to turn on V-Sync in the nVidia control panel (Not the in-game v-sync) and turn off frame rate caps in-game. If your GPU can push games to 100HZ or higher, you should not get (much) screen tearing.

But these are half baked solutions that might not even work, depending on your specs and luck. Best would be to save and obtain a G-sync monitor for a sure fire solution.
