Thanks for your recommendation. R3 1200 + B350M-A requires a discreet gpu right?

R3 1200 vs 2200 processing speed almost the same? The price difference is only about 50 bucks or so. If i get the R3 1200, the cheapest gpu would be around 200 bucks, GT710-SL, set me back about rm150.

Also, I don't know how to overclock.  tongue.gif  Shall i just stick with R3-2200 + B350MA setup, or go with the intel one?

Maybe I can save money on the psu. But very limited choice of brands here.
*
Yes it does require a discreet gpu.

Right now you can go with Ryzen 3 2200G if you willing to spend more money on your budget. But I do insist on the Intel Pentium build because it's cheaper and can handle all the office works!

Its hard to find a realible brands for a low budget PSU. I hope you can spend few extra bucks to buy a good one. The suggested Seasonic S12 430W is flawless.

Good luck with your build!

Kk dont sell seasonic brand. All brands either expensive or never heard before. Best i can find is the corsair vs, even that also they only have 550  (rm230) lowest spec. Dont have the 450 model. Im bulding this for my brother in law actually. I might build myself a gaming pc after the new gen ryzen comes out in april.

I'll go with the intel build then. Ssd samsung 850 evo 250g sold out yesterday. Wd ssd green 240g good to take? About the same price, rm380. Ram cant find ddr4 2400 4g now. Stick with the corsair vengence lpx 2666 1x8g?

Thanks for your feedback.
*
Limited parts sure give you a headache. For SSD better wait for a new stock of Samsung Evo. If not then any brands of SSD is good enough for a new build systems. Check their price and compare the read and write speed.

A single channel RAM (1x8GB) is not a problem for Intel Pentium build. No worries.

Else you can by each part thru online seller. Much cheaper. Pay the shop technician to assemble the computer for you outside his working hours.

Hello guys. I wanna know about something.
Is the gpu pricing rises to high end cards only?
I wanna buy a new PC, but with low end cards, just to run something like adobe premiere PRO and bluestacks..
I still don't know what's right for my hardwares..
*
Mostly but budget low end cards such as 1050ti also slowly affected right now.

Your budget?

Thanks bro derthvader for the advice. I'll go with your recommendation. Seasonic s12 430 if i were to get online price will be 240+26.50 delivery. better to get this or go with the corsair vs550 for 230?
*
For low tier budget power supply, I don't really recommend Corsair brand. They use cheap components.

But it just my honest opinion.

Take the VS550 if you cant wait any longer. A bit overkill for your system. VS450 will be just nice.

May I know which CPU would suit the GTX 1050 Ti the best? AMD and Intel

I came across Intel i5 8400 and Ryzen 5 1600 but people say the GPU bottleneck the cpu

For gaming, CPU should cost under RM900
*
I'll pick i5 8400 over Ryzen 5 1600 for gaming. But the motherboard compability is the main issue. You have to buy Z370 top of the line motherboard for now. It's not an ideal pair but we have no other choice.

What about this, I don't think I need 6GB of vram

AMD Ryzen 3 1300X (4C/4T) - RM579
MSI B350M Gaming Pro - RM435
Corsair D4 Vengeance LPX 4GBx2 - RM476

I won't settle for 3GB of VRAM. You should go with GTX 1050ti 4GB. Save your money for future upgrade.

It's just my honest opinion.

Which power supply will suit it best? Hope it doesn't cost too much because this option stretched the budget a bit
*
The cheapest I can suggest is Corsair VS 550W. It's a low end budget power supply unit that suit your budget.

Else you can take Seasonic S12 520W for better reliability. Its not too expensive.

My friends say that Ryzen 3 1200 bottlenecks GTX 1060 6G, so Idk what do you guys think of these 2

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (6C/12T) - RM859
Asus Prime B350-Plus - RM533
Corsair D4 PC2400 Vengeance LPX 4GBx2 - RM476
Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC - RM879
Seasonic S12 II 520W - RM265
Tecware Edge TG ATX - RM199
Total RM3211

Intel Core i5-8400 (6C/6T) - RM746
MSI Z370 Gaming Plus - RM599
Corsair D4 PC2400 Vengeance LPX 4GBx2 - RM476
Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC - RM879
Seasonic S12 II 520W - RM265
Tecware Edge TG ATX - RM199
Total RM3164

Or if you think these are bad, given a budget around RM3200 what would you build
*
Personally I will go with the Intel build for gaming. You can wait for cheaper alternative motherboard.

Got a few questions
1. Single channel memory 8GB or dual channel memory 4GBx2 will be better on this build?
2. Can this build play PUBG?
3. Anything else I should adjust on the build?
Thanks
*
1. Personally I always prefer dual channel than single channel memory.

2. Yes, you can play PUBG flawlessly on medium/low setting.

3. Add SSD 120GB if you have extra budget. It make your system faster.

Is this ok
*
Its seem fine for me. Well balanced. The motherboard price really kill your budget. But do you have an external hard drives for your system?

If not then just swap out that 120GB SSD for 1TB Western Digital Blue - RM189

You can always add SSD later.

Hey, I'd like to get some help please icon_question.gif
Only have graphics card in mind, gtx 1060 3gb zotac,I think is cheaper
[Budget] 3kish

[Purpose] browsing & gaming

[Hardwares that will be re-use]none , first time building & only have laptops

[Games & softwares that use frequently]

[Personal preferences] making a budget gaming pc, at least 8T on cpu
, don't mind lower ssd space, wifi card. Looking for a 144hz monitor too

[Location]KL
*
Better take GTX 1050ti 4GB than overpriced GTX 1060 3GB.

If you have extra budget then straight upgrade to GTX 1060 6GB.

[Purpose] gaming

[Hardwares that will be re-use] none, first time builder

[Games & softwares that use frequently] AAA titles

[Personal preferences] intel 8th gen and parts that are friendlier for first timer

[Location] KL

i saw some news about a cheaper variant of intel 8th gen motherboard is releasing soon, so i'm thinking of building it using those cheaper motherboards.

As for overclocking, i'm not sure if i'm able to do it, scared that i might fry my pc lmao.

As a first timer should i actually build myself or buy from shops like ideal tech or others that offer free assembly and cable management.

If i were to build myself should i actually buy from local shops or a mix of amazon and local shop depending on whichever is cheaper.
*
You can buy all the parts seperately thru online store or seller. You can pick everything that suit your preference with cheaper price.

Then you can pay your local shops technician to assemble the computer for you.

You can learn by watching tutorial videos on Youtube. Its not that hard actually. There is always a first time for everything.

Else, you can search for store bundle pre-built systems promotion. Its kinda cheap but all parts are fixed.

TristanX i have a question since u seems the one with knowledge in this. i read alot that nowadays since gpu pricing so high because miner its better to buy prebuilt pc.

is that only apply to place like US or is it true for Malaysia too?. should i still suggest my friend in Malaysia to build a rig or get the prebuilt one performance per money wise.
*
Pre-built system is cheaper in the United States. Some of them even offer manufacturer's suggested retail price for graphic cards.

In Malaysia? No.

The pricing for all parts is crazy. Price inflation.

You need to find a good deals or bundle promotions to save some money.

does buying certain parts from amazon directly seemed good in terms of delivery(whether does it have flaws after its delivered to my house) ? i saw that some of the gpu sold directly by amazon are kind of near msrp and a lot cheaper than local shops. i have never bought from amazon before.
*
Amazon?

I never buy anything from them. So I'm not sure how they handle their warranty outside United States.

You also need to consider the shipping cost, the taxes, customs clearance because they mybe confiscate some electronic items.
