Cryorig H7 Black 145mm. Else go with all-in-one liquid cooling.

Intel CORE I7 9700K
Asus TUF H370 PRO GAMING
Corsair D4 VG 3200 C16 LPX 1X 16GB
Cooler Master MWE BRONZE 650w
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300P
Samsung 970EVO PLUS 500GB
ZOTAC RTX2060 6G TWIN FAN

With budget Rm5k, is this the best rig? What if i change the cpu to i7 8700?

Will the latest i7 9700k worth Rm350 compare to i7 8700?

A waste stuffing 9700K on non Z370/390 motherboard. All the K series requires cooler as well.

I still suggest Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X build over Intel.
*
RYZEN 7 3700X - 1399
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK - 509
G.SKILL Trident Z RGB (For AMD) 16GB (2 x 8GB) - 549 (Czone)
Cooler Master MWE BRONZE 650w - 289
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300P - 269
Samsung 970EVO PLUS 500GB - 689
ZOTAC RTX2060 6G TWIN FAN -1539 (Czone)

Total 5243

Is this OK? wink.gif

Nope. Extremely overpriced SSD.
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/samsun...ssd,5608-3.html

Go for Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB at around RM319 instead.

https://shopee.com.my/ADATA-XPG-SX8200-Pro-...9831.1948362468

Use that excess money for better PSU like Super Flower Leadex II Gold.

Go for SX8200 Pro 250GB NVMe SSD for around the same price. Much better performance. The rest looks good.

If its for home use, get cheap Window 10 and MS Office keys from Shopee. Around RM5 each.
*
If prefer RGB NVME, will you recommend to get XPG SPECTRIX S40G? laugh.gif

Will the i5 9400f bottleneck the RTX2060?

If get cheap RTX 2060 like Galax, is this brand reliable? Sorry, never use Galax before.

Thanks for the info.
I might want to wait till MCO period over.
Any shops that in pj that you all can recommend? Only place I can think of is digital mall pj.

As for the psu, I will get GPU later for sure so it’s better now to get one that supports future upgrades. I plan to get mid range cards, not high end gamer enthusiast. Any recommendations? My old rig using FSP hexa 550w which serves me for 8 years +/-, this brand is still good?
*
If you want to get better PSU for later upgrade, you might need to top up a little..because 1300 really too tight.. wink.gif

There's no heatsinks on the VRMs so I'd avoid that icon_idea.gif

Litepowers are not exactly a good PSU either; you'll definitely want a better quality unit - never skimp on the PSU, no matter how tight the budget icon_idea.gif
*
Is the mobo i using good in term of VRM cooling? i saw there is a little heatsink near VRM..

Asus B450M-Plus TUF Gaming hmm.gif

Still a pretty mediocre board VRM-wise:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d9_...78281&range=A88

For a good mATX one you'll want the B450M Mortar instead icon_idea.gif
*
Oh..i see..use it first..wait 4th gen come out only upgrade mobo..
Since B450 not supported by new 4th gen.. rclxub.gif

Recommend you, you don't build. Whats the point? Might as well wait for B550 next month. X570 definitely still better than B550. Or don't buy at all due to unending wait.
AMD released AM4 4000 series but older chipset B450/X470 not compatible..
If buy 4000 series already, will AMD continue to use AM4 socket? or still early to say?

Ryzen 4th gen is AM4. It could be the last AM4 update. AMD decides not to support B450/X470 and earlier chipset. Lets hope manufacturers do a workaround to support it. MSI Max series definitely got room due to bigger BIOS.

Ryzen 5th gen very likely on different socket. Maybe DDR5 and PCIE 5.0 too.
*
Then not good for gen4 ryzen..no room to upgrade..
And too bad to existing gen1,2,3..if upgrade need change mobo but new mobo no more upgrade..

Straight wait new socket better if want upgrade..

Need to wait till end of 2021 for new socket and pay a premium for DDR5 RAM or maybe wait for Intel to be competitive. Waiting is a never ending thing. Buy based on your need.
*
Yeah, wait is never end..mine still working fine..actually i dont need so much power also, just that hand itchy..Its fun that can upgrade a part once a while.. cool2.gif

Hi..
After thinking to upgrade my existing rig... I decided for new setup and plan to purchase all at digital mall pj (near to me)

Plan to have new pc without monitor budget 4.5k to 5.5k
Its mainly for video editin 4k footage using i.e. Premiere pro, after effect, photoshop..or myb sikit2 game (im not really a gamer 😂)

Preference...
Ryzen 7 maybe? Or intel? (good with rendering)
32gb ram (now using 16gb.. Just thinking need more of it)
SSD for OS and software + NVME for project file/source file.. And i like RGB thingy... Sifus pls recommend me a setup. ..

Thank you @ terima kasih
