Wouldn't recommend Alienware (or Dell) machines due to proprietary, (mostly) non-upgradeable hardware and poor thermals, as evidenced by Gamers Nexus:

Can kick AMD out when there is video editing. Intel Quick Sync is just too good.

Core i5-12500 - 909
MSI B660M-A Pro Wifi - 700
PNY XLR8 8GB DDR4-3200 X2 - 318
Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC - 2799 (Lazada - You might wanna grab it quickly. Last in stock.)
Kingston KC3000 512GB - 433
Seagate 1TB - 179
Silvertone Viva Gold 750W - 328
Lian Li Lancool 215 case - 319

RM5985 total
*
That depends on the software though, and in many cases GPU decoding will work just fine:

QUOTE
Now, you might look at this and think "if it is no better than Quick Sync, why bother?" The reason why this is such a big deal is that Quick Sync is only available on certain Intel CPUs (primarily those with integrated graphics). If you wanted an Intel X-series or Xeon CPU, not to mention one of the terrific Ryzen and Threadripper processors from AMD, you pretty much had to accept the fact that you would be getting significantly worse performance when working with the most common codecs in use today.

This is useful on certain CPUs (like Intel CPUs without iGPU/Xeons/Threadrippers) icon_idea.gif

NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX3060 TI 8GB GDDR6

RM4999 is it good deal?
*
RM5K and a 256GB SSD is just unacceptable seeing you can barely fit a few games in (there are even games that won't even fit on that drive alone) sweat.gif
Probably group regulated PSU too sweat.gif

3 PCs are in different house, I even tried with different cable, so luck.

Maybe it's just pure bad luck.

Btw, any recommend for 650W PSU?

Corsair RM650 might be a good pick hmm.gif

Hai I'm new here. would like a recommendation from you guys regarding my builds. I travel a lot and stay a lot in hotels for quite some time (usually +-1 month). I hate laptops.
My current Gaming rig is Samsung Galaxy S8+ pair with PS4 Controller (Android games, Xbox Game Pass, PS2 Emulator)
My plan is to hook up this computer to the hotel tv and play my games.

[Budget]

RM5000

[Purpose]

Gaming and Movie only

[Hardwares that will be re-use]

None

[Games & Softwares that use frequently]

Casual Games, AAA games & Switch Emulator

[Personal preferences]

*Prefer something like Geeek A50 Plus casing or something smaller that uses an external power supply also open to recommendation

*Focus to play all games at 1080P Max out or if you can't max out on high settings also acceptable

*Multi Bluetooth (For Controllers) and Wifi connection

*SSD or M.2 that is not top tier list is acceptable. I don't mind waiting a little longer for the game to load ( my current rig uses HDD for games and I don't mind the loading time  tongue.gif )

[Location]

Klang Valley

With current GPU prices you're better off with a console, or wait for the upcoming M2 Mac Mini for that sweat.gif

Also maxed out graphical settings = asking for expensive GPUs sweat.gif

Note that mini-ITX will mean limited cooling which can become a problem on our weather icon_idea.gif

I'm going to max out the game with 1080 reso only. Yes the GPU price is way higher before the world shortage in dont know what it is. but we use to pay almost 2.2k-2.5k for a 9800 GX2. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Gaming on MAC? I pass on that yaa tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Aircond room sir. It won't hurt that much I think.

Alright, add in that cooler also. Any shop recommendations to purchase above? or is it better to use Shoppe?

Shopee or Lazada. Buy everything at one go might be more expensive.
