does anyone here experience the engine gets louder and vibrates whenever the RPM reaches 2800-3000? because i ve been driving the car more than 9 months and noticed this very often and did not really have the chance to ask you guys here (was busy and kinda forgetful as well). Anyway, the car is very smooth and quiet until the RPM reached 2.8k-3k and can notice the engine gets kinda louder and vibrates.

QUOTE(isr25 @ Mar 10 2017, 06:16 AM) Yes, this was shared last time, but the downside is need to do it everytime you start the car. Loud yes, but didn't notice the vibration you mentioned. Is it a bad vibration (whole car?), during driving? Or while at a complete stop? Not the whole car but only the engine. I would say not a really a bad vibration, just a very minor one but noticeable especially the dashboard and tht is during driving. During cruising, the car engine is very smooth~ until it reaches 2.8k-3k RPM then i could notice it. However,I gonna go try out tomorrow on another civic which my friend recently bought it to see whether is it normal and i shall update here again ya

QUOTE(Newbie838 @ Mar 10 2017, 07:39 AM) It gets loud and rough. Didn't notice vibrations. It's almost like a jekyl and hyde thing. At lower RPMs it's so silent and silky smooth...feels like a predator when you're cruising the car park looking for a parking lot. But once you press a bit and bring those revs up, it's like a charging bull, nostrils flaring and all. Yea, i agree! Haha.. perhaps i should be using the word 'rough' instead of 'vibrates'. I ll update here again

Im thinking of reflashing ecu to get rid of the turbo lag and of course gaining a better speed. Anyone heard of AE Tuned? Im choosing between them or Pentagon Racing (Hondata). The price is a huge difference. Hondata is RM 2550 all in and AE Tuned is only about RM 350-500. My friend advised need not have to go for Hondata as this is only actually remapping the ECU (basic stuff) and Hondata not worth doing it as it is so expensive. Whats u guys think?
