Yeah it's pretty cool parking brakes dislodge itself on accelerate. I wish the parking brakes would auto engage as well when you open your car door. Like the c200 or new tiguan

My FC not great either. Always between 8-12km/l
Unlike when I first got it and was on Shell RON 95... Could RON 97 play a role somehow? |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Apr 20 2017, 07:18 AM) Answer this: You got reduce and increase FC mixed upHow long is your daily commute (in minutes) How far is your daily commute (in km) Do you drive / live in hilly areas? Do you "warm up" your engine by starting up and letting the engine run for a few minutes? Do you "cool down" your engine by letting the engine run for a few minutes after arriving at your destination? Generally: 1. Short commutes will reduce FC and long commutes increase FC 2. Keeping engine rev below 2,500rpm during acceleration and below 2,000 rpm while cruising will increase FC 3. Hilly areas (going uphill and downhill) often will reduce FC 4. Driving below 70km/h on average, will reduce FC 5. Keeping your trunk filled with stuff will reduce FC (more mass to move the car) 6. Bad jams, will always ALWAYS negatively impacts your FC Hilly area and heavier trunk uses less petrol? Cause that's what reduce FC essentially means right? Reduce fuel consumption For a moment there I was considering revving above 3.5k rpm each time to save fuel On a side note, I normally don't rev pass 2k... 2.5k reving is pretty fast already for this car This post has been edited by zester: Apr 20 2017, 01:31 PM |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ May 24 2017, 11:00 AM) Alamak It's not the same. Earlier days, people say non continental cars, the doors feel like tin kosong light flimsy. Now, honda civic engineered to have continental feel, pulak complain pintu berat The civic just feels like the joints are overly tight or not lubricated to make it seem heavy. It lack the finesse, premium feel of say a Audi/bmw/merc and to some extend VW door which has a nice flow as you swing it close with a low, satisfying tight "thump" sound. You'll know the difference when you don't need to apply as much strength to close them and still feels berat. The felling is something like the engineering done to Macbook's lid. It does not need a latch... it doesn't accidentally open by itself... yet it can be open with just one finger gently. Amazing really |

QUOTE(dirtrun @ May 25 2017, 11:09 AM) Its, Lol nobody said it was and I personally think that would be silly if someone were to.Probably so.. but l dont tink de 'closing door sound' is gonna be de deciding factor in choosing the car.. At least, it wasnt for me.. Just discussing our observations on build quality of the doors & hinges |
