QUOTE(Newbie838 @ Apr 4 2017, 02:06 PM) I have and my experience wasnt' good. Firstly, I booked an appointment well in advance, arrived early and yet had to wait close to an hour before they'd call my number. Those walk-in customers got processed before I did. Thx bro for your tips ...When the technician worked on my car, they didn't place protective mats on the paint and scratched it badly. When they washed my car. It went in without even a single scratch, came out with bad scratches all over. To top it all off, It's already almost a month and I have yet to hear from them about my warranty claim status. The only consolation is that their lounge is comfy and they do provide hot drinks, water and some kuih. |

Check the posts on last Saturday , one of the bros here already shared his finding .. it is due to the A pillar .. i followed his method and my prob solved .Is it a common problem and can be easily solved by SC? |

QUOTE(iamiman @ Apr 4 2017, 09:12 PM) Yups. Thanks to the guy. I followed his method and then issue a complaint and possible solution to SC Bangi and they informed me they have fixed it. Left my car today for A & B services from 9am and at 12noon car is ready. How and what the SC did to solve the prob ? I have not send to SC yet just temporarily slip in paper πPicked up at 5pm after meeting n so far rattling sound does not occur. |

QUOTE(Fattyboy1 @ Apr 4 2017, 10:59 PM) At first, I believe that SC should solve all my rattling problem given its 100k++ price. Yes they successfully fixed my ultrasonic sensor casing rattling problem which was giving me headache (literally) due to metallic rattling sound at high pitch. However for other rattling sources, i have started to diy by using sponge as long i don't dismantle the plastic cover. All i did was to insert sponge into those A pillar plastic gaps for dampening. It worked for me and a few others in this forum. Also under the dashboard cover right side near the steering column, there is a wire which brushes the plaster panel causing rattling. so i inserted a piece of sponge in between the wire and panel which solved the rattling. Those that i can solve diy without going to the service centre i will solve. But those rattling from my driver door armrest panel i cannot solve which I will lodge a complaint in my next service interval visit. And i hate making frequent visit to service centres. can show some photos bro ?I even inserted sponge under the third brake light casing which has reduced rattling noise. In short, i m curious whether toyota altis or mazda 3 or nissan sylphy has the same rattling problem. |

QUOTE(B u B u @ Apr 7 2017, 12:43 PM) SA recommended me LLumar T4-50 tint for RM2400 - RM500 = RM1900 Used this spec before. Not the best heat rejection but not that bad either. Just nice . For this price range I suppose this is a good option since it is a 4mil security film. Clarity is very good. However note , since it is 'package' offered to u, ask for the specs for front and rear windshields. Had this small bad experience with Llumar.Worth it guys? Or there are cheaper and better ones? I got new rattle noises coming from dash ...
It's at driver's side on the air vent ... When I pressed the area near the air vent , the rattles stopped or minimized .. Any face the similar issue ..? -edited- With very light press on the center of the dash (abv double signal light button) will make the rattle totally disappeared. It is true. Anything happened after this like suspension or absorber prob etc everything will be blamed on the bodykit. This happened to my fren so I know.bodykit outside is at least more than half cheaper.. |
