Last year after I try Honda City then goes into Mazda 3, the different in Interior is quite significant, makes Honda felt cheap. But this time After I tried Mazda 3 and goes into Honda Civic, It doesn't felt that much premium anymore.

Sure Mazda Interior still felt better especially that knob at the gear level is particularly useful, but civic gave a much more spacious feeling. Backseats space totally can't compare.

Mazda3 center console is nicer, Civic instrumental cluster is nicer. I didn't adjust the head up display in Mazda3 so the viewing angle is odd for me during test drive.

Can't commend much about the drive as I just tried the short course, rushing to family dinner.

The only reason I'm interested in Mazda3 this time around is because they have High Spec Hatchback, before facelift they only have hatchback same price with sedan but with less equipment. Now hatchback is priced higher than sedan but with same high spec equipment.

Well they don't have M3 HB GVC on display there, don't even have ready stock, still in manufacturing progress I guess. Waiting for the SA update me on HB availability. Since civic 1.5 tc also no stock at the moment, let's see which one comes first and do I wanna pay another 10k extra for that.
But Mazda still does it better, you can go try it out.

All sifu whom own the white Civic, that day i saw the test drive car and found the white colour on steel base is difference with the white colour on the plastic base. The white on the plastic base is more to Milky white colour. So may i to know whether your ride's colour also the same?
