the drivers probably stupid enough to think it is flashed. the headlight will usually on at least 5-10 seconds if pass by short tunnel/shades so to think that as flashed is kinda no sense

civic and fl accord have the same sensitivity but there are many cars that have this auto-headlight thingy since few years ago.
*
accord prior to FL,which also been driving dont have this issue of auto light on,it can be off

Maybe I have too high expectation on this car since most reviews say it has good NVH and so on.

I thought it would be miles ahead of my previous ride....

Ive compared accord and this civic, both are quite comparable, accord will be better slightly only.so or this C segment considered not bad

Hi guys ... Im from JB going to be one of the civic FC owner soon , by then recently I joined some of the fb group and I found out some of the members saying that their car seems to have common problem

Example like HU lag and unable to function , front dashboard has some weird and funny sound during driving .... is there anymore common problem where u all face ?

Hi Sifu, just wondering is that necessary to service for A (oil life) or can ignore it? My current situation mileage is 8k and service A pop out. Should I wait for 10k mileage only go service?
*
How much balance km? Should be able to just go for 10k km service if still got like 1k km to go, mine have 610km to 9.5k km due

It's not the same.

The civic just feels like the joints are overly tight or not lubricated to make it seem heavy.

It lack the finesse, premium feel of say a Audi/bmw/merc and to some extend VW door which has a nice flow as you swing it close with a low, satisfying tight "thump" sound.

You'll know the difference when you don't need to apply as much strength to close them and still feels berat. The felling is something like the engineering done to Macbook's lid. It does not need a latch... it doesn't accidentally open by itself... yet it can be open with just one finger gently. Amazing really

try close inspira/lancer's door, same but need to slam it harder than normal cars as the safety aspect is there

Not at the moment. Need to wait for a new beta to fix the kinks out I guess. Some observations:

1. You can use FM radio with waze - but the radio volume will not reduce when Waze has any voiceover (same volume).
2. If you use any Music app on AA (Google Music / TuneIn Radio etc), the Music app will totally mute itself when Waze has any voiceover.
3. If you have Waze navigation route set to your destination, if you go back to HU Home - or put your car on reverse, and come back to AA, Waze will reset, but renavigate again to your destination automatically. Sometimes it will come on as a blank screen, and you need to reselect Waze - but even though blank screen, you can still hear the voice prompts.
4. If you don't have navigation route set, if you go back to HU Home - or put your car on reverse, and come back to AA, Waze will crash/force close. You need to reselect Waze again.
5. Waze direction distance countdown, does not tally 100% of the time with the one shown on the car speedometer dash - up too 300m distance before refreshing itself. Sometimes, the speedometer dash will crash and show the last direction and distance until you disconnect Waze and AA, and reconnect again.

As I said earlier, this version of Waze is a beta version, and there are lots of bugs. I will continute to use it though, and I will report the bugs above. Hopefully Waze will fix it with the next Beta release biggrin.gif

Thanks for sharing, do u need to open Waze app 1st or do so via AA? Seems when open via AA waze cant lock to current location and no navigation prompting direction

So far, I don't need to open any on my Android. I can plug it in to the car, wait for Android Auto to start, and click on the navigation icon. Never had issues yet, but I read some people on the Waze Beta thread that the situation you mentioned can happen.

Yeah bro, new apk version was in last night and yes the bug on the lock in issue was settled smile.gif

V4.25.0.1 is a general Waze Beta/RC, and not Android Auto compatible.

v4.24.0.113 is still the latest Waze Beta compatible with Android Auto.
