putting in pocket by itself shouldnt cause any scratch, FYI the front flip material is scratch resistant.

i have walkman build with the same concept , mirror and built in oled ... it doesnt get scratch easily .

so putting it in pocket should be safe unless u put it together with sharp object like keys ..

on the SE roadshow, the showgal even show me the how resistant it is to scratch by purpose scratching using her ring. wink.gif

aiyooo .. u guys ar .. i say scratch resistant not scratch proof hahah ..

when i say she try to scratch it using her ring, its not like u scratching for the LOTERI scracth and win type. Its like she use her ring to hit and drag over the top cover, can hear the sound when her ring contact with the phone summore ahhaha , to simulate if the phone scratch by something accidently lar..

and YES no scratch or dent and YES its a real z610i she was demoing with. The z610i was hanging on her neck not the display phone on the booth.. Real 1 as can see the Oled working oso hahah

ya, if not mistaken, both p990 and z610i oso under Thorus not Midland .... dunno whats going on too ahhah..

btw, on iRonTech comments, i agree very much on the smudge hahah .. but not the scratch and slippery part ... common , this phone is so small that your palm would cover most part of the phone if u hold it.... no chance of slippery wat so ever lar ..

calapia, i dont think you wanna update your phone using the Update service, this is also call OTA update which will cost u a lot on the download usage.

as for WAP and MMS setting, just browse to local SE website and choose z610i, then choose phone setup, then choose either WAP or MMS, and follow the instructions on the web.

They will send u an installation SMS wink.gif

Then after everything satisfy, we ask the seller to give us a new set. He when and took another pink miyu, then we check everything again, then before leaving i only pay them.

standard package should come with

1) the phone tongue.gif
2) charger
3) battery
4) data cable
5) manual
6) cd kit

i think thats about it, dont worry if you dont find the handsfree included. IT is not in the standard package

the ability to withstand minor scratch doesnt means u can neglect the phone care.

i was also shown the demo of scratching the phone using ring, and the phone survived the demo scratchless.

When u put phone in handbags ... well funny thing happens as there are so many other sharp and hard things in it. 1 way or another, some thing (key maybe) have made contact with the phone in a strong way that could create those little dents.

my gf's pink miyu was 1 of the earliest in this thread and the phone still shines without scratch. FYI, she cannot be categories as careful user biggrin.gif

oh! you dont know my wife and her phones rclxm9.gif  she is really very careful with all her phones.

FYI, all her phones have always been stored this way in her handbag all these years without any problems, except for this SE.
*
hehe .. of course i dont know your wife ler tongue.gif , i'm just making a general statement..

basically for your wife case, i think its pure bad luck or the dents were on other phones but not as obvious as it looks on this shiny surface....eheh

but really, so far i think your wife's phone is the first casualty among low yat members...
