darn it... i just tried the update service and it says error could not update
now after i close the flip and open back up the screen is black...  Edit: i just tried to update again but it says already got the latest firmware, but i update it anyway and it gave me the same error, firmware is r1JG001... crap... This post has been edited by GongFuChau: Apr 7 2007, 02:22 PM |

err.... around 4 months. I remember clearly b4 i update is R1ED001.
Well, i guess something went wrong when i update, since it stopped at 96%. Tmr gonna take it to sony there and ask them... |

Back from the service centre and everything is working fine... Now the firmware version is R1JG001, and something cool i just notice, everytime i close the flip the snow effect shows for 1-2 secs...

I upgraded my FW at the SE Service Center then i got the snow effect when closing the flip. Its not just a software upgrade, its a full software flash, since i fail that SEUS, and my screen wont light up when i open the flip.
Maybe upgrading via SEUS urself differs from upgrading or flashing in a SE Service Centre? |

I pointed out the SE Service Centre cuz most of the forumers update themselves via SEUS, maybe service center use other thing to update? And ur fren maybe did get an update in SE Service Centre. AP sets could be updated there too but have to pay nia.
Also, i didnt just upgrade, is a whole software FLASH, meaning everything back to the way when i bought it, just with latest FW. The only way we can get to the bottom of this is directly consult SE, so writing a mail to them might just get us the answer.  |
