Honda Accord = year97 - 99
Toyota Camry = year97 - 99
Nissan Cefiro = year97 - 99
Proton Perdana V6 = year99 - 01

Reason why i listed the years is because i'm on a budget of around RM40k total loan.
Cars listed above are mostly around that price.

Which car do you guys go for?
Which car is the most fuel efficient?
Which car is the heaviest?
Which car has best handling?
Which car is comfortable?
Which car can perform?

New I choose Perdana because its cheap at only rm80k.
But old, I'll definitely go to Toyota Camry. Toyota is more durable.

Which car do you guys go for?- Honda
Which car is the most fuel efficient?- None I think.
Which car is the heaviest? - Prolly the cefiro.
Which car has best handling? - I've only driven accord and camry. I'd say camry.
Which car is comfortable?-They're all about the same.
Which car can perform? - Honda. Camry pickup was a lil crappy.

the perdana shudn't even be considered at all.

Cefiro = 1300++ kg
Perdana = 1300++ kg
Accord = 1500+++ kg
Camry .. i dunno

gogo2 : not asking about new car ler .. 2nd hand car.

I heard so far the Camry's handling isn't exactly that good .. espacially those years.

Accord is nice and good for highway drive but handling on corners not nice.

Perdana is nice and good as well .. but it's a Proton .. dunno .. need advice here.

Cefiro Excimo 2.0 is light and apparently highly recommended drift car :| .. but i'm bot buying it for drift ler tongue.gif

Few more things to consider is maintainability of the car as well as ease of maintenance of the car.

gogo2 : Perdana ok wat .. i've sat in a few of those .. quite comfortable. Not much pickup power i've to admit .. but better than a 2.0 Accord in pickup still.

Janik : yeah tot of cefiro .. but scared a bit .. not exactly that common here in malaysia. Though i see quite some cefiros around .. still amongst all 4 Cefiro sold the least in Malaysia.

SpeedAlert : Cornering susah a bit .. but other than that a very stable car at high speed. 2.0 sucks at pickup a bit but 2.2 got enuf power. + alot of options to upgrade from. Common car as well so easy to find parts. (should be cheap i hope)

P.S. i might be wrong .. correct me if i am smile.gif

for design and technology, go for VTEC (accord)
for superior handling, go for VVT-i (camry)

i'm a loyal honda fan, but i admire the handling and stability of camry, which accord can't fight
maybe honda should bring in some accord euro-R to fight with camry

that is generally a proton which cause alot of trouble n mostly, those trouble come from lower end model eg. wira, saga etc.. so far, having 96' Perdana, so far so good.. no failure no nothing.. juz the seat ned to re-cushion but im sure that is not quality problem, instead is a normal problem as wear n tear do occur here.. im quite sure those car honda n toyota from similar year will have some minor problem, not perdana only.. imo, perdana looks professional while accord look like tuner (ah beng choice) and camry very uncle look (old n 2nd new model.. new model rocks!).. i wont even consider a cefiro due to its power doh.gif
driven a 3.0 cefiro n the power is like better than my perdana 2.0 abit n u pay massive road tax sweat.gif
