Only for my Evo when the difference was higher than 30c/ltr. My Mark X regularly just drinks 95.

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 23/4 to 29/4 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM0.89 and RM1.19 respectively (±1 sen).

If we follow the current Automatic Pricing Mechanism and Sales Tax Act, the government is allowed to "tax" us higher by 60sen per litre for petrol products sold.

So at least should drop 5-10 cents if gov is fair.

Haha which government are we talking about.
Confirm won’t reduce a single cent, government will profit from this so they can subsidize all the things they are doing. No money because of 1MDB.

Hahaha yeah, not transparent. Well already cheap anyway.

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 2/7 to 8/7 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM1.63 and RM1.93 respectively (±1 sen).

If we follow the previous Automatic Pricing Mechanism and Sales Tax Act, the government is allowed to "tax" us higher by 60sen per litre for petrol products sold.

Practicaly also only use 1 car due to the exhaust noise raid lately and even that 1 car barely uses 1/5th of the tank per week due to MCO.

I see, Ron95 for now still remain the same for 3 weeks streaks now. Usually 97 for higher performance and conti car that’s what I know
*
Many conti cars also are enough with 95, no need 97.

Preferably ron97 for better performance. Those engines if damage will cost a boom rather not to risk 😂
*
Not true, if the engine is designed just to use 95 then no need to use higher and they won't go kaboom sooner! More power also not always true. If it's optimized with just mapping for 95 then it won't make more power by using 97, just wasting money for placebo effect, Malaysian calls this shiok sendiri. Lol Even if some do mapped for higher ron, often the difference is marginal and only detectable with dyno testing so unless your butt feel is more sensitive and accurate than dyno then you won't notice the difference.

Totally agree. Even if a car is tuned to have optimal performance with RON97, usually the power difference is minimal, like 2-4% more power than RON95.

Even if your typical teh tarik is sweeter than usual by 2-4% than usual, how can you know the difference if no one were to tell you? Shiok sendiri is most likely the effect.
*
If high performance turbo cars then the difference would be more noticeable because you can run higher boost, hence can make much more power. But for NA cars, you only get a bit more advanced timing hence the power increase is marginal. Like my Mark X, spec sheet says can run ron95-98, so by right optimized for 98 but when I compare 95 and 97 practically no difference so I just run 95 lah, why waste money. Other Mark X guys in the club are adamant must run 97 cuz they claim much more powerful but when go touge with me, macam sama saje! 😆

Not filling up 97 anymore since the difference with 95 exceeded 30c. Now using octane booster, even 2 bottles in 1 tank still cheaper than using 97 and already tested up to 1.4 bar boost without knocking. 😆
