I bet no price changes until a few weeks after 6 states PRN.
They can't avoid to play politics to garner support.

Blanket subsidies (not just petrol) are enjoyed by all foreigners in the country. Including tourists.
This is like banning plastic drinking straw and plastics bags as a "Green initiatives" but not dirty diesel engine vehicles.

One interesting facts which is not known by local Malaysian: China claims it imported 1.5m b/d of **Malaysian** oil last month. That's triple the real output of Malaysia.

So much money must have been made by a middleman who swap the oil. devil.gif

-My apologies, last week and this week was an extremely busy week for me and didn't have time to update the table-

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 8/8 to 14/8 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.45 and RM3.75 respectively (±1 sen).

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go up by 15 sen from last week at RM3.52 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

2nd Note: No news whatsoever on targeted fuel subsidy, so don't know what is happening with this initiative

If calculating 5/9 to 11/9 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.54 and RM3.84 respectively (±1 sen). The Government seems to be holding the prices the same even though the market price is high for RON97.

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would be the same as last week at RM3.37 (±1 sen).
