Daily RON95 price for yesterday was RM1.20. Last time Malaysia ever saw this price was the year 2000 - RON97 was RM1.20/l and RON92 was RM1.16/l

If calculating 12/3 to 18/3 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM1.31 and RM1.61 respectively (±1 sen). If we follow the previous Automatic Pricing Mechanism and Sales Tax Act, the government is allowed to "tax" us higher by 58.62sen per litre for petrol products sold.  |
