All we want is transparency. If want to tax, then make it known.

It's funny how there are still ppl comparing LGE actions as MoF with the current MoF due to this petrol price drop.

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

Sharing with everyone the petrol price as of 15/3 - RON95 should be RM1.40 and RON97 traditionally should be RM1.70.

If we follow the previous Automatic Pricing Mechanism and Sales Tax Act, the government is allowed to "tax" us higher by 58.62sen per litre for petrol products sold.

As of now, the government is taxing us roughly 42 sen for RON95 and 40 sen for RON97.

Daily RON95 price for yesterday was RM1.20. Last time Malaysia ever saw this price was the year 2000 - RON97 was RM1.20/l and RON92 was RM1.16/l

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 12/3 to 18/3 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM1.31 and RM1.61 respectively (±1 sen).

If we follow the previous Automatic Pricing Mechanism and Sales Tax Act, the government is allowed to "tax" us higher by 58.62sen per litre for petrol products sold.

Oil plummets 18% in 3rd worst day on record, sinks to more than 18-year low

Oil plummeted 18% to a more than 18-year low as the coronavirus pandemic continues to sap demand for crude and as rising worries about a global recession lead to fears of longer-term demand destruction.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 18%, or $4.83, to $22.12 per barrel, its lowest level in more than 18 years. WTI is on pace for its third-worst day on record.

International benchmark Brent crude shed 11.6%, or $3.33, to trade at $25.40, its lowest level since 2003. —Pippa Stevens

The RON95 price should be much lower by now

last week should be on 1.73 but they only make it to 1.82...
given this week the actual should be further down to 1.31 (-0.51), I am giving it lowest 1.60
