Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 23/1 to 29/1 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.10, and RON97 should be around RM2.40.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 will go down by 9 sen to RM2.40 (±1 sen).

Great work, TS... Thanks
Even thou you estimate is spot on, the price will be 1sen higher, just like the previous 3X in a row.
Higher forces behind the outcome. 😁😂😀

Actually might even be 2 sen higher this week. Hope the MOGAS95 price remains low for Thursday and Friday for RON95 to dip below RM2.08/L

Hope next week still trend down
Then we shall see if the gov honor their words
With the outbreak not going positive yet, chance is the travel demand continues trending down...sigh

Hows the trend in global fuel price compared to last week? Anyone foresee RON97 to further dip?

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 30/1 to 5/2 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.04, and RON97 should be around RM2.34.

My estimate is RON95 will go down by 4 sen to RM2.04 and RON97 will go down by 7 sen to RM2.34 (±1 sen).

ron 97 cheap again. bye2 octane booster as of now..lol

I feel octane booster still cannot fight ron 97 for full tank 65 litre..but, its way better than put 100% ron 95 la. lol.

Now is the best time to float it like they were planning end of last year before they chickened out.

Anyway they won't tax back because current SOP is once it drops below 2.08 then they let it float till it goes back above 2.08.

Perhaps best way to avoid subsidy is for Ringgit to appreciate significantly, then petrol will be cheaper in RM =p

This means the new RON95 fuel price will be RM2.04 per litre while the new diesel price will be RM2.08 starting at midnight.

As for RON97 petrol, it will go down by seven sen from RM2.41 to RM2.34 per litre.
