Hi. I'm new comer. Asking here cause Fast Furious does not active like this sub forum.

Here is my question :

I have recently bought a second hand Toyota Wish last month. Car mileage is 140k km as shown on the odometer. Price is good Only RM32k. Cheap because I buy it from direct owner. Car manufacture year is 2007 based the number wrote at the chassis. Solid white colour. I dunno about the engine. But no VVTi mark on the engine cover. Only shown Toyota D4. The transmission is 7 speed CVT.

Problem :

1) Car jerk at low speed.Look like the CVT. I dunno how to explain, but it is like manual clutch car behaviour. Still not yet change CVT oil. But change the oil will help?

2) Rough sound and sluggish at low speed. Not sure whether engine or CVT. But it sounds rough. Currently use Synthium 3000. Any oil good for make the engine more silent at low speed?

3) Any other thing I should change? I have change completed set of hydraulic mounting. Thinking of changing fuel filter for next services.

Hmm...used car...Send to SC and ask them what is the problem. I'm just afraid you might need to change your name to pagipetangmalammakankaki later.

No wonder that owner sell to you. Broken already.

If that owner, buy recond as 99% Malaysian owner. 140k mileage maybe actually 240k as dealer tampered mileage initially.
So prepare major overhaul & major service..

make new dupe, with new car

Grey import cannot enter official service center

cant be...
toyota can last even from dinosaur age..

Try bring to toyota shah alam service centre...i heard they do repair this wish estima alphard vellfire...

change all oil and from there let see the impact..

Gear box problem. I got the same issue as no. 1 on my second hand city. Had to change gear box and it doesn't jerk anymore

Must be Tsumama car

Buy 2nd hand like that one, depends on luck

Honda city what year?. How much is it?. Change at honda sc?.

Yah..kinda agree. Especially when buying 10 years old car. Got many wear and tear already. If previous owner take care their car like gampang, then buyer is the one who need to fork out a lot of $$$$$$$$.

Btw, to TS buy 2nd hand is still worth it. But u need have a reserve cash in case Ur car having breakdown. Topkek. Why need to setup dupe account liao. No need la.want to jaga face ke. Kekeke.

1. try to change cvt oil filter, cvt oil...
2. rough sound where? tires or engine? stick to mineral engine oil (the thickest)
3. absorbers, fuel filter, does it use timing belt or timing chain? if timing belt, pls change the timing belt, tensioner, aircond belt, service aircond, oil filter, cabin air filter, brake fluid, steering oil fluid..etc etc..

last owner sure no chg cvt oil

Honda city 2006. Also cvt gearbox. I changed at a transmission shop last time also he changed for my '98 s320 so I trust him. Total around 3k including changing the engine mounting. Reburfished gearbox.

Sound like gear box problem only.

the local wish didnt use this combo.
