LoL

I never heard essilor until I got recommended to use once. This shit coating eat off like crazy. Then they told me don't use soap this that to wash. I said last time I use hoya, I wash with soap, shampoo also no coating problem. Only calar.

Now try Zeiss, also calar only... no coating problem.

Hoya lens sux.
lens not really durable, coating worn off fast.
not scratch resistance as they claim.
after 2 years the lens tends to turn yellowish.

Yellowish is true for hoya, regardless of what you did.

My first hoya 20 years ago was quite godly. Stepped on it on a beach, washed with all kind of imaginable soap n shampoo but coating still fine. I tried Essilor on a friend's recommendation and it is definitely worse than hoya since it took less than 2 years to destroy the coating beyond use. Now with Zeiss, good care, no coating problem but scratch like crazy.

Personally I'm thinking going back to hoya for a try.
