Are you sure this Ecohill Walk will truly materialise? At the rate things are going I don't even think it will open its doors to public in 2020/2021. I think it will take another 100, maybe not 100, but 1000 years to materialise. Who knows, maybe never even materialise at all!

I say this because earthworks or construction was supposed to start in January 2017 but January came and went with no sign of anything. No construction, nothing. Its already March and all that can be seen on the site is empty barren land. Very, very, very, very, very so damn slow indeed.

In fact malls or shopping complexes that were planned after Ecohill Walk in KL and PJ have now all completed construction and open its doors to public. Examples are Sunway Velocity Mall and Ikano Cheras.

Again I think this is another NATO project = No Action Talk Only. Talk so much until there is no action. Even their official website has not been updated and does not contain images, pictures, artist impression and articles or write ups or floor plans of Ecohill Walk. The same information they publish in their brochures and give away to customers, buyers and tenants they should also put on their website complete with supporting pictures.

If you want me to believe this project can truly materialise, don't talk so much, talking won't prove anything until you do it. BUILD FIRST, COMPLETE THE PROJECT, OPEN ITS DOORS TO PUBLIC, THEN ONLY I WILL BELIEVE THIS PROJECT CAN MATERIALISE. But don't take so long, do it before 2021.

If SP Setia is worried they won't get tenants, then they should follow the examples of other shopping malls in KL and PJ where they build first and do site launch, promote and advertise in newspapers and magazines and online as well as property fairs and expos and update their website from time to time. During this time since the construction was started, all this promotion and advertising and website updated that were going on during the construction period will definetely bring in interested and serious anchor tenants and tenants into the mall and will be 100% fully occupied and open for buissness by the time it is completed. This is the model other shopping malls in KL and PJ follow, construct first and wait for sign up tenants before it is completed. By the time complete, will be 100% OCCUPIED.

cipan > What do you mean "when was the last time u visit semenyih?"
and I am using Mozilla Firefox the latest version. In fact, Internet Explorer got new versions coming out up until today.

I AM STAYING IN SEMENYIH!!!! ALREADY FOR MORE THAN 12 YEARS

On another note, it would be nice if AEON Jusco has a department store in Ecohill Walk. Complement that with MBO and the premium grocer.

Glad to see the 360 degree club house is progressing well.

Subway Semenyih has open its doors for buissness. Location is in Pelangi Semenyih beside Secret Recipe.

MRT Kajang - Sungai Buloh phase 2 line already opened yesterday.

Got 3 stations in Kajang. 50% off for LRT and MRT until 31st August.

Now everybody from Semenyih can hop on the train to go to work.

Nearest station from Semenyih is Saujana Impian.

8 minutes if you stay in Sunway Semenyih, Kajang East, Desa Mewah or Bandar Teknologi on Lekas - Grand Saga (Cheras - Seremban) road through Saujana Impian. Possible to reach within 5 minutes also if all traffic lights green.

15 minutes if you stay deeper in Semenyih like Kesuma Lakes, Eco hill, Eco hill 2, Eco Majestic, Bandar Rinching, Taman Pelangi Semenyih 1 & 2 through Ecohill - Lekas link, Eco Majestic - Lekas link, Ecohill 2 - Lekas link and then head through Saujana Impian on Lekas - Grand Saga highway (Cheras - Seremban link).

Sorry couldn't show in google map cause I'm out doing something.

Actually travelling time is based on my personal experiences travelling from Semenyih to Sungai Jernih/Saujana Impian station by car.

Trains come every 5 minutes and reach Bukit Bintang in 30 minutes time.

Whole journey including travelling on the train, driving, waiting time is less than an hour. Possibly 45 - 55 minutes had passes from the time you departed your house in Semenyih and you have reached Bukit Bintang.

Still much better than travelling by car or by bus all the way to KL, no traffic jam, take less time and can sleep in the train if you got a place to sit.

What this area needs is more Chinese restaurants. More Chinese kopitiams/restaurants will be good. Can cater to Eco Majestic residents as well as office workers from factories nearby (office/management side).

Also hope a good electronics shop like Seng Heng can come in. This whole district needs a good big electronics store maybe occupying 2/3 or 4 shoplots. This is because Semenyih has only one proper electronics store (Seng Heng). The rest is only 2 small mom and pop shops in old part of Semenyih town.

DON'T go opening another handphone shop because there are too many in Semenyih already. Too much competition, 17 of them including Semenyih Town and Tesco all selling basically the same things. Semenyih has enough handphone shops to cater to residents.

I use to stay in Setapak. KL and PJ everyday traffic jam and congested. Want to reach home from KL city Centre to Setapak during peak hours take 2 hours. Everyday driving for 4 hours. Haven't include working hours yet.

Staying in Semenyih better, can reach within 1 - 1 1/2 hour sometimes during peak hours from KL. From Cheras (Taman Connaught), only 15 - 45 minutes during peak hours.

No jam can reach Semenyih from KLCC or Bukit Bintang only 30 - 45 minutes and Cheras only 15 - 30 minutes.

Nowdays, who take car from outskirts or suburbs to city Centre. Everybody take monorail or Subway. I always park and ride at Saujana Impian MRT station to KL and PJ. Drive from home in Semenyih 15 minutes, take MRT 30 minutes. Total traveling time to Bukit Bintang, 45 minutes.

If you stay in Sunway Semenyih or Kiara Plaza, can reach Saujana Impian MRT station within 5 minutes provided no jam.

Japanese food can go to Semenyih Sentral@Semenyih town. Got 1 Japanese restaurant selling sushi and other dishes there. Only 5-10 minutes drive from Ecohill. If you use back way, even faster.

Just Waze and Google Maps and you will see.
