Hi there.
I'm helping my family to sell a piece of furniture which is very dear to my mother.

I'm planning to post sales threads in here, Lelong.com.my and Ebay Malaysia.
As I'm very new to this, I will need all the guidance I can get.

What method of receiving payment should be the safest ?
Paypal, Bank Transfers or by Cheque ?

Other than that what are the procedures?

Real photos will really help, that much I know.
Also what would be the optimum way to transport furniture? I'm pretty sure couriers won't transport large objects do they?

Any more tips and advices that anyone can share would be very helpful
Please put me in the right direction to make this sale.

Thanks in advance.

P/S If this is the wrong section to post this, mods please help me move it to the correct section. Thank you.

Bank-in or online transfers r safest, provided the buyer dont do idiotic things lah

Courier companies do transport anythin' & it's possible 2 arrange w/ them. Most of 'em like City-Link & GDEX r more than willing 2 help customers. It's biz after all

All da best in ur sales smile.gif

Thank you very much. I'll discuss this with my dad and hopefully I'll be ready to sell in the shortest period.

Thanks again. smile.gif

sean, in your case why not just use site like Ebay / Lelong / LYN to advertise your sale.

no transaction involve, the interested buyer goes to your place and pay you there and then as he / she collects the goods.

this way you save yourself from
1. being accused of over-charging for freight
2. opening door to possible accusation of freight damaged goods or you sent goods that are not in proper condition blablablabla
