The thing is, Lyon also want Sakho. Good option if Liverpool want Lacazette as part-exchange. The options are quite good for Liverpool now. Just hope they don't mess it.

Now emerge claims that what Soton did was to impress their fans without any real prove. Plus they are quite pissed when VVD already came out and said he prefer Liverpool over other clubs since that basically cut off possible price war against clubs who are interested in him. Soton is making a storm out of nothing really.

The only legit way to punish Soton for this is to humiliate them on the field next season. And make sure it is proper humiliation like Liverpool did to Arsenal and Spurs before.
